New Year's Bite: a second bite novella: SJ Tilly

Danger: this way contains spoilers Alice and Chef Michael 💕 love them so much. New Years Bite picks up when they get to Canada ready to film the new year special. Alice is cohosting, they still don't know who leaked the pictures, and suddenly it's a celebrity special?! Lots of possessive Michael & sweet talking Alice. I loved these two so much, and I CAN'T WAIT for the Alliance couples to take the second bite cooking class. 👀

Unmanageable: Leslie McAdam

Unmanageable gives us super happy sunshiney Scott ending up a nanny for a grumpy dad, Luke. Scott is a sweetheart who loves being in love, but the man is a bit of a mess. Luke is a good hearted man, but he's jaded and been let down on love before. He feels like he's "bad at relationships." and ESPECIALLY bad at romance. All it takes is a little forced proximity [they are sharing the house because Scott is a live in Nanny & Luke works from home] and their attraction starts down the feelings road. This story was super sweet with great side characters and can absolutely be read as a standalone.

Forgiveness: Soldiers of Fortune book one: Aja Foxx

So this is a shifter and an mc story, but not really. The main focus is Bug and his relationship with Bear. Bug is one of those rare characters that captured my immediate attention. I knew he'd be interesting and that he'd have one hell of a backstory. I wasn't wrong. Bug is homeless and lives on the street. He has for years after surviving [redacted]. Bug rescues Bear, a bear shifter, from a pipe weiding bad man. Dismissing Bug entirely as crazy, Bug is determined to protect Bear. What follows is a lot of violence and bad men running around causing mayhem. When Bear realizes Bug is his mate, things move even faster. I wish this story was longer. I loved Bug. This was a super original story with a well written mc. The plot really grows as the stories go on. This book is Bug and Bear's story, but the other shifters will get their mates, too, in follow-up books. I love this story and have reread it many times. UPDATE after another reread: this is a great play on Omegavers...

The Anti Wingman: Accidental Love series prequel: Saxon James

Rylan finally wants to settle down after his 20s are filled with hookups. Kai has only ever rushed into relationships and wants to be single for a while. Neither know what they're doing, but they become besties and wingman/anti-wingman for each other. I so very much enjoyed this little look into the guys who own Big Boned Bertha. It's sweet to know the origin story and to see why when Rylan showed up in book three, he didn't bring Kai. I just finished a reread of this, and it is still utterly charming. Kai is a sweet himbo and Rylan is such a grumpy butt - he can't fight the pull of Kai's orbit. The fact that they didn't even realize they were dating is just honestly so cute and ridiculous. And KISMET! We get the backstory of this adorable kitty. Kai calling him Kissy was hilarious. I'm excited to reread this series, and Anti Wingman is such a good little shortie novella.

A Million Little Moments: Inevitable series book 2: Riley Hart

Oh, bless it. I continue on my journey of best friends to lovers stories, safe with the knowledge that it is by far the superior trope. ✨️sighs and swoons✨️ Jasper and Sutton have been best friends their entire lives. They're 26 now, and people are expecting them both to settle down - to leave the other behind. Both mcs love each other. They're IN LOVE with each other. It just takes them both a long time to figure it out and/or act on it. Jasper and Sutton both have obstacles they have to maneuver & ways of thinking they'd be best served shedding. But they are SO IN LOVE. Jasper is the center of Sutton's entire world. Sutton is the heart in Jasper's chest. It's just so damn romantic. A MILLION LITTLE MOMENTS is full of amazing side characters, growth, love, big emotions, and hard conversations. But the love between Jasper and Sutton pulls the story forward. Neither one will let anything permanently come between them. This is a story I don't reread often....

Ski Patrol: Aster Valley book 4.5: Lucy Lennox

Omg. This little novella was SO CUTE. Best enjoyed after reading Thick as Thieves. BJ goes to Aster Valley to find the writer of a to-do list. he knows that the list belongs to the man of his dreams. But after almost a full week of grindr hookups looking for the list man, he is ready to give up. An accident on the slopes puts BJ in the path of Dallas, the ski parol guy. Dallas just moved to Aster Valley and doesn't have any friends and ends up helping BJ after his accident. The more they talk, the more they have in common. Is Dallas the to-do list guy? BJ was AMAZING. A sunshine guy if I have ever read one. Sweet and kind and fun. Dallas is slower and steadier, but just as kind. These two fall so quick and so hard. It was perfect. Honestly, my only beef with this story was that it was short from an anthology. I would have easily read another 200 pages of their adorableness.

Thick as Thieves: Aster Valley book four: Lucy Lennox

We're talking childhood best friends to lovers with an almost two decade one-sided pining situation. Throw in small town and friends that are like family... I can't think of a book that's more up my street than this one. To say I cried my eyes out at the end would be an understatement. Julian and Parker were soulmates, and they eventually got it together. Thank goodness. This story reminded me of one of my favorite romantic quotes: "I love you. I knew it the minute I met you. I'm sorry it took so long for me to catch up. I just got stuck." This is basically what happened. Julian and Parker have been best friends since they were six. They were in love the entire time, but Parker didn't understand and thought he was straight. Julian was pining HARD the entire time. When Parker gets left at the altar, Julian and Parker get away and head to Aster Valley. There, there's only one bed, and that's never been a problem... until now. I loved these characters...

The Remarkable Lover: Sweet Southern book 3: Maya Jean

THE REMARKABLE LOVER comes out on January 1st, so jot that down. You are not gonna want to miss this story, ESPECIALLY if you love a brat. TRL provides what I've come to expect from this author: great storytelling, amazing & real characters, and grand sweeping romances. Jackson and Harper were stunningly perfect for each other. While we get the mc's romance, we also get to see our favorites from the previous books. Eli & Colby and Trevor & Beau were there along with everyone who works at the farm. We love a universe with precious previous characters popping in. Jackson was a natural caretaker. He got his sights set on Harper and went woo-ing. I was cheering him on the entire way. He was romantic as hell and a brilliant listener. But more than all that, he saw to the core of what Harper needed. Someone who stays, and Jackson was determined. Harper was such a brat. He loved pushing buttons & I loved how Jackson could bring out the softness in him. Harper had one h...

The Former Fake Boyfriend: Sweet Southern book two: Maya Jean

✨️sighs, still wiping away tears, perfection✨️ I held off reading THE FORMER FAKE BOYFRIEND because I loved The Husband Experience so much... it's definitely one of my favorite reads this year. I knew that when I read TFFB, I would love it just as much. I knew that I would cry, that I would be blown away by the writing, and that I'd wish for unending chapters and yearn for the story to go on forever. I just finished TFFB, and I was absolutely 100% correct. How do I write a spoiler free review? All I want to do is leave quotes and cry a little more. I want to share all my favorite moments and sigh continuously over how wonderful these characters are. Trevor works for The Boyfriend Experience as an escort. He gets a job, to be a fake boyfriend during a rehearsal and a wedding. A weekend deal. But when he sees Beau Callahan, his "john", I think he knows this won't be a regular job. Beau is a farmer. He's big and broad, and not just for farming. He carries everyth...

Hot as Heller: Aster Valley book three: Lucy Lennox

Sheriff Declan Stone can GET IT. What an absolute dreamboat. HOT AS HELLER was entertaining and fun. It had a dash of ridiculousness, a ton of sweetness, and wonderful characters! The plot kept right on going, the actors and film crew arrived in Aster Valley bringing Finn Heller, our loveable interest for the stone cold fox... I mean Sheriff Declan Stone. Both mcs went in with preconceived ideas about who the other was, but when they gave each other a chance. Woo Hoo was it good. The side characters were amazing, as usual. And sometimes amazingly terrible, just as they needed to be. We had mentions, and a couple scenes of our original Aster Valley crew, and Finn's horrible mom-manger Lola. Kix, thr hanger on, who was literally the worst. Shaw the new deputy & Tess, Declan's bestie. Plus, the various other cast and crew of Gold Rats... believe me, we were pretty entertained. I loved Finn finding his freedom. I loved the secrets of his heart. He had a sweetness that paired so...

Sweet as Honey: Aster Valley book two: Lucy Lennox

My Lucy Lennox adventure in Aster Valley continues. SWEET AS HONEY was, as advertised, SO SWEET. This story had so much of what I love in a romance. An adorable, nerdy, quirky, and kind mc who meets their match in a grumbly, large, and broody mc. I LOVE IT, GIVE ME 14 OF THEM. Truman runs the spice shop, dresses in costumes, and wants to be "the sunshine that helps people grow." He does all of that and more,  and i so much enjoyed Sam, softening his heart towards the adorkable problem laden spice man. Sweet as Honey focused more on the plotty plot, the small town, and the found family over spicy bedroom scenes... but it had those too. We got cameos from Gent & Winter, and Mickey & Tiller. We got the amazing "rainbow brigade" in the diner owners, and the lesbian knitters. We got great villians with the Stanner family & SPOILER ALERT: Mr. Balderson. *le gasp* I absolutely adored Sam's character. The scene where he and Mikey fly back to Houston to deal ...

The Devil I Don't Know: LK Shaw

Don't you love downloading a free book and actually liking it? All I knew was this story was free and a mafia romance and I was like... 👀 sign me up! I'm so glad I grabbed this one! It's rare for me to read a hetero romance. If I do, chances are it's a mafia story. I very much enjoyed The Devil I Don't Know. Arranged Marriage? Check. Irish & Italians against the Russians? Check. Slow to love & trust MMC? Check. "MY WIFE." Check. I love the mafia violence, the betrayals, looking for the rat, and the eventually sexy times that come with a mafia romance. Always a winner. It's a cliché for a reason... cause it's GOOD. Brenna is sold by her Irish family in an alliance with the Italians. Jacob (Emilio) doesn't really want a wife, but he's willing to do his duty to his family. Brenna and Jacob eventually bang it out and fall in love. Brenna was determined and fierce, but there was an innocence about her I loved. Jacob was growly and tragi...

Right as Raine: Aster Valley book one: Lucy Lennox

I wanna go to Aster Valley! I ate up Winter Waites yesterday, the AV prequel, and read RIGHT AS RAINE today. Oh, the feels in this book were sweeping. Mikey and Tiller have an AMAZING friendship/working relationship that slowly evolves into shared but assumed unrequited pining. This lasts for FIVE years, until a football injury and a trip to a little mountain town turn things upside down. Mikey and Tiller both have obstacles in their path, but ultimately, they work them out, and the storytelling is TOP TIER. Their love is so sweet and strong. It was beautiful to read. Mikey's situation with his dad and his entire family broke my heart,  and there were many times I was openly crying... especially near the end. But woo, that Tiller Raine was some kind of something. Thoughtful and kind and OBSESSED with his Mikey. I was here for it. Imagine: Travis Kelce falls for his personal chef, in a real-life employee to friends to lovers situation. The swoon factor was real. I'm off to f*ck ...

Winter Waites: Aster Valley prequel: Lucy Lennox

Holy sweet Hozier. That's the exact vibe. Imagine being a huge Hozier fan, and when you're at a concert, he literally starts singing to you. There's a connection. But you have to leave, AND HE CHASES AFTER YOU. That starts the story. Winter is an occupational therapist just trying to live his life. Gent is THE Gentry Kane, folk singer extraordinaire. When these two cross paths, magic happens. The story unfolds, and it's wonderful. I kept picturing Gent as Hozier, and no one can take that away from me. WINTER WAITES is the prequel to the Aster Valley series, and you can guess what I'm starting next. I loved this little novella so much, entirely TOO SWEET. It was the absolute best. I hope these two make cameos in the series.

Above & Beyond: Twist of Fate book 4: Lucy Lennox & Sloane Kennedy

This series was so good! Above & Beyond is book 4. LUCKY is Xander & Bennett's adopted son from book 1. ZACH is Jake's brother from book 3. There's an age gap, a second chance, search and rescue, secret keeping, combat related PTSD, and truly - both of these guys have amazing stories to tell. Lucky is open with his heart, and Zach has a bit of a reason to be weary. But the two can't seem to stay away from each other. Zach bothered me for so much of the story, like, pull your head out of your ass. And then he does, and I liked him so much more 😂 it's a good reminder that these characters represent real people, and more often than not, people are messy. I love a big moment, and this book had a fair few. I found myself crying at the end - thinking about all four couples had to go through so much to get where the series ended. I loved these books, and even though Zach was a bit of a dummy, I loved this couple. I'm so glad they got their future happily ever ...

Body & Soul: Twist of Fate book 3: Lucy Lennox & Sloane Kennedy

✨️sighs dreamily while staring off into the distance✨️ This series is absolutely incredible. Lennox and Kennedy knock it out of the park again. Jake is Xander's (from book 1) broody best friend. His life is thrown into disarray by the renter in the cabin next door. Oz is a retiring super model and needed a quiet place to work on his fashion designs. Oz doesn't share his super model secret. Jake doesn't share his super secret secret. They fall in love anyway. Cameos are had by all the couple from the previous books. The plot is pushed forward, all the while we are falling in love right alongside the two mcs. There's funny moments, a hairless dog, sweet moments, and a hell of a heaping serving of big BIG emotions. There's something about all three of these stories that make me want to openly sob buckets. I really can't recommend them all enough.

Running Feral: blurb reveal: Erin Russell

I've LOVED the Possum Hollow books and I'm excited to get Gunnar and Tobias' story! RUNNING FERAL is out TOMORROW!!!! ✨️small town ✨️age gap ✨️moving on from an abusive relationship ✨️black cat/cinnamon roll ✨️found family ✨️hurt/comfort TOBIAS I moved home to take care of my grandmother. Instead, I got caught up with the worst kind of people in town, and now I’m the personal punching bag for a member of the mafia who has no intention of ever letting me go. He doesn’t care about me. He cares about what he owns. I used to care about things like staying alive or trying to be a good man, but the longer this goes on, the harder it is to see a future different from this. I don’t even have friends in this town. The only person I could possibly run to is a bartender who I barely know. Gunnar watches me a lot. He doesn’t speak very often, but the way he watches me, I know he cares. He’s probably the only person who does. It’s not like I could really ask him for help, though. He’s a...

Not Catching Love: Accidental Love series: Saxon James Blurb reveal

I have LOVED this series SO MUCH. This is an amazing found family series, and every character is absolutely lovely. I think it's time for a series reread! 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 is arriving on January 30th. It's the fifth and final book in her Accidental Love Series. What to expect.... 💕 Nurse x Artist 💕 Slow burn 💕Found family 💕 It's about time The blurb: ✨️Xander✨️ There’s something seriously wrong with me. For once, I’m not talking about the health anxiety that randomly pops up and wreaks havoc on my life. I'm talking about, well, everything else. All my roommates have found someone to love them, and it hurts to see the guys who used to have me at the center of their worlds pair off and grow up, especially when it’s a reminder of everything wrong with me. I’ve always had an issue with relationships. With forming a connection with people outside of Seven, but this is more. Because I want to find my someone. Except the one person my brain has latched onto...

Lost & Found: Twist of Fate book 1:Lucy Lennox & Sloane Kennedy

Oh my god. I forgot how angsty these books are!!! What a perfect way to spend the night... crying and relishing in a brilliant second chance romance with a dash of childhood best friends to lovers and a slathering of abandonment/betrayal. Lucy Lennox and Sloane Kennedy together are overwhelmingly qualified to rip the heart right out of your chest and hold it out, Simba style. And you'll thank them for the experience. Thank you. Xander and Bennett are EVERYTHING, and I'm unwell with it. They're literally soulmates. LOST & FOUND was packed full with BIG feelings, an emotional love story, humor, guilt, fifteen years worth of pining, big issues, and going the distance when you find your one. And the moments. There were so many good moments. Who thought hikers on a wilderness retreat: some underprivileged kiddos, a trail guide, a well to do chaperone,  two folks with some serious history, and a farting but sweet dog could captivate you so completely? I'm telling you, if ...

Safe & Sound: Twist of Fate book 2: Lucy Lennox & Sloane Kennedy

Whew. I think I need to take a break from the glorious angst-fest that Lucy Lennox and Sloane Kennedy deliver with the Twist of Fate series. They're amazing stories,  but they're A LOT. Aiden and Ash go THROUGH it. And even SAFE & SOUND isn't a new release, I really don't want to spoil anything. Both mcs are solidly wonderful. The backstories & baggage of both are horrendous. The love between them is truly like FATE. There were so many giant moments and so many beautiful small ones that I genuinely feel like I've been put through the ringer. And I'm not mad about it. These stories are less about smut and more about solid storytelling and in-depth emotional characters. Aiden and Ash deserved every good thing in the world. I'm so glad they found each other. And who doesn't love when the player becomes a smitten kitten? I can't recommend this series more. But have a box of tissues handy.

Hot Ride: Lucy Lennox

HOT RIDE was an amazing spicy little novella from Lucy Lennox. Travis and Azrael were smokin' hot and cute and wonderful and just... I loved it. If you like ridiculous meet cutes, meet-misunderstandings, second hand embarrassment, dirty talk, phone sex operators, dancers, and an mc who finally stands up for himself -> look no further! This novella had great characters, great storytelling,  SPICE, and a lot of laughter. I absolutely recommend it, and it's a perfect little novella if you're trying to meet your reading goal! 76 pages of ridiculously cute and absurd situations. My only real issue is I would have LOVED an entire book!

Jacks and Marchie: Lucy Lennox

Brilliant little novella featuring Jacks and Marchie, set in thr SAY YOU'LL BE NINE universe. Jacks and Marchie have been best friends since they were children. It takes a while for them to figure out they are IN love with each other. only issue: too short. I could have read an entire book of their cuteness!

Say You'll Be Nine: Lucy Lennox

This book. These characters. My HEART. Isaac, "Nine," is my favorite kind of mc. Big & big hearted and stoic af. We love a big man with big feelings. I loved Nine from the very first page, and he was everything I love in a mmc. Cooper fell in love, and it was 100% understandable. Nine is the youngest son of 10 children. He's dependable. He works at the town's hardware store and makes YouTube videos. He's a pretty successful blogger. Cooper wants to be an actor. His best friend is Eli, one of Nine's brothers. He doesn't like to depend on anyone. He's hyper independent. Lots of things happen to cause Cooper and Nine to start working together on a big vlogging project. Being alone leads to.... [redacted] ... and that leads to [redacted] ... and then we get the epic moments and big feelings and ✨️dramatic sighs✨️ a massive love fest. I loved these characters so much. I loved their love story. I loved this entire book. Lucy Lennox has such a bri...

Under the Radar • A Mars Fitness story: Linden Bell

📢 listen up hoes. THIS STORY WAS AWESOME. And hot. The dirty talk was on point. The story was fun and ridiculous. The characters were amazing. And it's Linden Bell, so you know. It was fire. Logan works at Mars Fitness. He's a juice barista. A sunshiney, happy romantic who believes in his ONE. He falls in love so easily and is regularly heartbroken. Now he's dating Jay, and he's so happy, even if his friends at the gym tease him about Jay being a serial k*ller or a spy. That's CRAZY. Jared never meant for things to get so out of hand. But he loves Logan and doesn't  know how to tell him... [redacted]. This book has EVERYTHING, and I was absolutely here for it. Logan and Jared were fun and sexy and sweet, and I enjoyed reading their story so much! Do yourself a favor and download the bonus scene. You won't want to miss it. 🥵🔥😍

It's All You • Mars Fitness Prequel: Linden Bell

Linden Bell is one of the new authors I've discovered this year, and I genuinely can't get enough. This is the prequel to the Mars Fitness series: Beau & Gavin's story. Holy hell, was it amazing. Y'all know by now that I truly believe BESTIES TO LOVERS is the tip top trope, and Gavin and Beau really proved it. Again. *to be fair, I say this after every besties to lovers story I love, but it's true every single time* I can't believe this was only a novella! Reading Gavin's POV made me feel like I was the one pining for my straight chikdhood best friend. ✨️sighs✨️ Gavin and Beau were so dreamy. Gavin and Beau have been friends since childhood. Gavin has been in love LOVE with Beau, who happens to be straight, since high school. When Beau suddenly goes through a divorce, he runs to his best friend. This really kicks everything off. Beau has no idea Gavin is pining. Then this chemistry is between them... it's magical. That's all I'll say. They ha...

Stacked • Mars Fitness book 2: Linden Bell

Once again, I'm reminded that ✨️BEST FRIENDS TO LOVERS✨️ is far superior to the fan favorite enemies to lovers. I said what I said. Preston and Sawyer are codependent best friends. They've been low-key obliviously in love with each other since high school. When a new guy, Fitz, comes in the picture, Preston realizes his jealousy and his feelings. I LOVED this story. Sawyer is the jock and the caretaker. Preston is the oblivious brainiac. These two circle each other the entire book. Of course they do. They're soulmates. STACKED is packed with a lot of worrying and pining.  There's also jealousy and obliviousness. Questioning sexuality is another big theme and found-family, too. And of course, the cameos from the previous books.  But Sawyer and Preston get it together eventually. I REALLY enjoyed their story and bought the book immediately after reading. It'll definitely be a reread for me. Linden Bell continues to write books I love. Stories filled with big feelings,...

Ripped • Mars Fitness book 1: Linden Bell

Linden Bell always delivers serious treats. I loved the Camboy Network series, and the Mars Fitness books are set in the same universe. Donnie is the spin instructor at the gym. Connor is in his cycling class. One night, after class, Connor goes home and finds his boyfriend cheating with his best friend Wyatt. So... double betrayal. In a fugue state of tears and shock he someone winds up back at the gym and literally in Donnie's arms as he finally breaks down. Donnie and Connor form an immediate connection. Connor is still reeling from the cheaters, and Donnie lost his husband four years ago and still isn't really handling that well. Being in each other's lives pushes them both to work through and let go, healthily moving forward with each other. I REALLY loved this story, and we even got a cameo from Sebastian and Christian from the camboy books! The bonus scene, which is available when you join Linden's mailing list, is ABSOLUTELY worth it. Im excited to jump into boo...

The Nanny Proposal: Lucy Lennox

These days, I seem to be a Lucy Lennox fan account. I love her stories! I just finished up The Nanny Proposal. I loved it! Brody is a "full-time child care specialist." LOL - he is a live-in nanny and has been with Dr Brighton & his three girls for four years. He is also hopeless in love with Grant ✨️Dr. Brighton✨️ Grant is a workaholic who loves his kids. His life seems to work because Brody is the boots on the ground doing the day to day with the girls. Grant is also lusting hard for the nanny. Circumstances happen, and suddenly, Brody and Grant are in a fake relationship but also actually married. These two eventually get it together, and I loved watching it happen. The girls and the other parents are great side characters, and Liza did not make a great first impression, but she grew on me. I'll be honest, I can't remember how I came to be in possession of The Nanny Proposal, but I loved Grant and Brody and their ridiculous situation and smitten-ness. Overall, ...

A Baby for Christmas: Keira Andrews

Another sweet snowed in holiday novella. This time, there's a baby and a cowboy and a very tired & frantic single dad. Jake & baby Cora are moving back to Jake's hometown, and they find themselves in a spot of off the road trouble right before a snowstorm. Thank goodness there's a super ripped cowboy in the vicinity who hears the baby crying. But this cowboy isn't a stranger. Cam and Jake knew each other in high school, and Jake has a lot to make up for. The storm hits, and we are getting a forced proximity snowed in sexual tension extravaganza. Jake needs a refuge, and Cam needs to let his anger go. These two finally get it together, and I love that they get their HEA. Toby is also a scene stealer whenever he's mentioned. I loved the intimacy scenes. Their dynamic seemed perfect for their characters. This book wasn't super heavy on the smut, more feelings and story than boning. I enjoyed the hell out of A BABY FOR CHRISTMAS. Who doesn't love a mad s...

Santa Daddy: Keira Andrews

I'm a ho ho ho for a good holiday novella, and if you make it a daddy book, then you know I'm reading it. Nick gets roped into being a mall Santa as a favor. Hunter, back home after college, needs some holiday money and realizes that mall Santas are not supposed to be so hot... as a general rule. Do you like it when they're suddenly snowed in? Do you like Daddy books? Do you like holiday novellas? This may be the book for you! Nick learns to love after losing his partner. Hunter learns what he needed all along. These two find their HEA, and it was remarkably sweet.

His Prince: Cora Rose

When I tell you that you need to read THE SILENCER and HIS PRINCE. Believe me. I'm not lying!!!! These two books are amazing and dark and morbid and also rom-comy. It should not work, but it absolutely does. I adore a good mafia romance, and Cora Rose delivers. HIS PRINCE is an arranged marriage for mafia purposes, and that is totally on my list of favorite micro-tropes. Angelo ✨️Angel✨️, is married off to Mikhail Ivanov. It's business and protection. We get hints about there being more to the plot in book one, and book two is full steam ahead. Angel is newly married, in love with his husband, and ready to make this new place his home. But after "consummation," Mikhail bails, and Angel realizes this isn't his fairytale happily ever after. Truly, what follows is Angel being 100% a badass. I adore his character and how he approaches this entire situation. There's Russian bodyguards, secrets, a push & pull between our two mcs, serious plot, series spicy scene...

Pure Country: Kelly Fox

Chapter 17. Before I say anything else at all about this book, Chapter 17. There's a reason why I love Kelly Fox books so much. We get absolute 🔥 love stories & a smokin hot shared universe... but Kelly Fox always writes from the heart, and Chapter 17. Well, it meant a lot to me. I felt seen in a very real way. Thank you for that. But more about PURE COUNTRY with no spoilers. Rowdy and Kess deliver. These two and this entire book were absolutely unexpected. I knew I'd have feelings - but Rowdy and his -------- & Kessler with his ----- ----. And the whole ---------- storyline. And the side characters! Skylar and Jaxon and Sadie AND KIT. Not to mention Woody and Emery & Stevie from book one. Then there's the entire ------------ aspect. So much was because of his past, but the way it all played out was beautiful. His talk with Woody,  after the _____ came out, while out with the horses, made me so emotional. Honestly, PURE COUNTRY was a gift. Rowdy and Kess had a ...

Protecting Mr Fine: Lucy Lennox

One of my absolute favorite tropes is bodyguard/protectee. It gives WHITNEY HOUSTON. It gives young Kevin Costner running to save his singer. It gives I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. And that, my friends, is what Protecting Mr. Fine delivers. Lucy Lennox continues to make life worth living with another book in the Billionaire Brotherhood series. Zane and Ryan, the singer & the bodyguard, the Honey and the Bear ✨️sighs in dreamy romance book delight✨️ Not only is Zane a member of the brotherhood, but he is also Zee Barlo, the world famous musician. His record label says he needs a personal bodyguard, and that's how he comes into contact with Ryan. Ryan is back in the States, fresh off a 12 year job as Royal security for a foreign King. He meets Zane and 💥  instant interest. Instant attraction. These two have serious chemistry, but it takes a while for things to bubble over, for feelings to bloom. There's just so much plot happening! We also get more of the brotherhood, and we get t...

Baby Cakes: SJ Tilly

Michael Kesso and Alice Hatter are the ✨️made for each other✨️ pair made in baking reality show heaven. I genuinely can not get enough of these two. Think: hotter and gruffer Paul Hollywood meets sweet plus sized baking contestant and whoopsie daisy, soulmates. BABY CAKES is three novellas in one book, so the story progresses super fast. But I found myself stumbling along with them right into love. Second Bite is part one, where Michael and Alice meet on the set of the baking show. Snowed In Bite is Michael and Alice snowed in while in Canada as they prepare to film the New Years special. New Years Bite is set during said special. The stories were packed with instalove & lust. Wonderful side characters. Cameo mentions from the Tillyverse. Sexy times. Inappropriate Christmas puns. A growly possessive baker/chef. The drama was drama-ing along with the plot - seriously. This was a nonstop, fun as hell read. If you're looking for a hetero holiday novella, I can't recommend BABY...

Celebrating the Season: Nora Phoenix

I was so happy to prance off to Forestville again. This time, Nora serves up a sweet & spicy holiday novella featuring a smoking hot silver fox and an energetic artist with adhd and buckets of flirting skills and sass. Boaz is in town for his father's wedding, and at the bachelor party, he meets a sexy muscled Santa. The instalust happens super fast, and these two turn a 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 one night stand into an extended through christmas break from reality with lots of banging. But it's not just the intimate scenes here. Ellery and Boaz have a connection that neither can deny. Can their new feelings survive the distance? Can someone fall in love in less than a week? I enjoyed the hell out of this story. If you're a fan of instalove & instalust, light D/s, and sugary sweet characters that are made for each other ---> then look no further. CELEBRATING THE SEASON will be available to read & purchase on December 6th.

Prince of Lies: Lucy Lennox

This series, y'all. Lucy Lennox has me in a chokehold with the Billionaire Brotherhood. Bash & Rowe kick start the series.  Rowe has big dreams, and he'll do almost anything to achieve them.
