Safe & Sound: Twist of Fate book 2: Lucy Lennox & Sloane Kennedy

Whew. I think I need to take a break from the glorious angst-fest that Lucy Lennox and Sloane Kennedy deliver with the Twist of Fate series. They're amazing stories,  but they're A LOT.

Aiden and Ash go THROUGH it. And even SAFE & SOUND isn't a new release, I really don't want to spoil anything.

Both mcs are solidly wonderful.

The backstories & baggage of both are horrendous.

The love between them is truly like FATE.

There were so many giant moments and so many beautiful small ones that I genuinely feel like I've been put through the ringer. And I'm not mad about it.

These stories are less about smut and more about solid storytelling and in-depth emotional characters.

Aiden and Ash deserved every good thing in the world. I'm so glad they found each other.

And who doesn't love when the player becomes a smitten kitten?

I can't recommend this series more. But have a box of tissues handy.

Y'all, I LOVED THIS STORY. I saw it available to arc read, and I took a chance. I am SO glad I did. I loved Cash & Wilder. If you love cowboy romances, 10/10 recommend this one. The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
