Protecting Mr Fine: Lucy Lennox

One of my absolute favorite tropes is bodyguard/protectee. It gives WHITNEY HOUSTON. It gives young Kevin Costner running to save his singer. It gives I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. And that, my friends, is what Protecting Mr. Fine delivers.

Lucy Lennox continues to make life worth living with another book in the Billionaire Brotherhood series. Zane and Ryan, the singer & the bodyguard, the Honey and the Bear ✨️sighs in dreamy romance book delight✨️

Not only is Zane a member of the brotherhood, but he is also Zee Barlo, the world famous musician. His record label says he needs a personal bodyguard, and that's how he comes into contact with Ryan.

Ryan is back in the States, fresh off a 12 year job as Royal security for a foreign King. He meets Zane and 💥  instant interest. Instant attraction.

These two have serious chemistry, but it takes a while for things to bubble over, for feelings to bloom. There's just so much plot happening! We also get more of the brotherhood, and we get to know more about Zane, all the while watching these two dummies fall for each other.

Threats loom. Secrets are revealed. Love songs are written. We get LOTS of bear facts & cute nicknames. We get a peak into Landry and Kenji's dynamic, too.

Protecting Mr. Fine was EVERYTHING I wanted. I have loved & adored every book in this series. I honestly can't recommend it enough. I'm pretty sure it's my series of the year. For real. I've loved every single book.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
