The Amazing Alpha Tau Romeo & Juliet Project: Sarah Honey & Lisa Henry

The Amazing Alpha Tau Romeo and Juliet Project was everything I hoped it would be. Thankfully, it was not as tragic as the real Romeo and Juliet. Charlie ✨️yay! I loved Charlie✨️ finally gets his guy! We met Charlie in the last book. He is a cinnamon roll and a squishmellow and deserves everything. In Pledge Project, Charlie was dealing with Ethan, the bully. Making fun of him for being on a scholarship and just overall being a giant jerk. Poor Charlie has his job at the donut shop and tutoring, he leads a study group, has his frat chores, and his own studies. The guy is busy. Then, all of a sudden, a hottie baseball player is super into him. He's overwhelmed enough, and then he finds out Tanner is a Kappa. Charlie and Tanner meet in their hometown the summer before school starts. They have one interaction, star-crossed lover style. Circumstances happen, and they meet again once college starts back up. But they're in rival frats, and they are doomed to not be together. Tanner i...

Alpha Tau Pledge Project & novella Make Up Sex: Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey

Just finished up The Amazing Alpha Tay Pledge Project & the shorty novella, Make Up Se x. I LOVED Casey and Briar's story.  Casey is pledge master & social chair for Alpha Tau. He was reluctant to join the frat. He had misconceptions as to what Alpha Tau would be, but they're proud of "not being your grand daddy's frat" and regularly show that with how inclusive and accepting they are.  When rush rolls around, the new pledges are pretty great except for one douche bag dude bro and a spitfire man, with the prettiest face...  Briar left his old college for Lassiter and pledged Alpha Tau to be safe. He's broody and moody and quick to temper. He's also femme, and everyone in his life has treated him terribly over it.  The femme part pops up when the frat and their sister sorority have a contest as to who could sell the most candy bars. Knowing the girls have it easier with boobs and skirts, the guys decide the dress code for the sale is skirts and heel...

Blurb reveal: Flipping the Script by Willow Dixon

I am so so so excited for this book!!!! It sounds AMAZING. And it doesn't hurt that the cover model is very handsome 👀🥰 FLIPPING THE SCRIPT is the first book in Willow's new Legacy Mechanics series. It comes out on September 26th. 💛 childhood enemies to lovers 💛 mechanic/ retired musician 💛 hurt/comfort 💛 forced proximity 💛 there's only ONE BED 💛 found family 💛 dirty talk & primal play & hate se x Jesse After years of working my butt off, I'm finally living the life I always wanted. I have a job I love, friends who've become family, and I'm enjoying the freedom of being single. Then Sebastian, my childhood rival, moves back to town, and my perfect life is thrown into chaos. We've always hated each other, but now there's something else between us. Something wild and primal, something that wants to make Sebastian submit as much as it wants to claim him. Hooking up with the guy I hate is probably the stupidest thing l've done, and that...

Mr. Sin: SJ Tilly

Mr. Sin was just what I needed. Honestly. Imagine: thick curvy boss bitch on a work trip to Vegas and has a steamy one night romp with the Devil. (He's not really the devil, but he's Mr. Sin, OBVI!) A month after the trip, Sasha is doing PR work for a new company and guess who the boss is.... 😱🎉💕 yes! It's him! What follows is pure entertainment. I assure you, this book has spice, feels, action, and a setup for a couple more books. I always ALWAYS say this and get proven wrong, but I can't imagine loving another couple from this series as much as I loved Sasha and Vincent. If you're looking for M/F hetero love that usually features curvy/fat main female characters and alpha male mafia/ex-mafia dudes, then I can't recommend SJ Tilly enough. She's a new auto read author for me! This was a reread for me. Takeaways: still amazing. Vincent, still ridiculous and hot. Sasha, still the absolute best. Captain, still the goodest chonk. Plot: still plotting. Loved i...

Devil's Mark: Lark Taylor

Usually, when reviewing a Lark book, I go full [redacted], but this book has been out for a while, and it's a reread for me. Needless to say, I found Devil's Mark on a lark *see what I did there* not long after its release and not even a chapter in, I thought "this will be an autoread author for me." - I wasn't wrong. DEVIL'S MARK is wonderful, entertaining storytelling. It starts as most mysteries do, with a de ad body on a rug in a book shop. Cal is one of the four princes of hell, but he lives "topside" on Earth. Content to live out his eternity in his bookshop, having casual hookups, and living his life. One night out at his brother's club, THE CLOSET, has his path and future directly in line with a man named Oscar. ✨️Oscar continues to be my favorite character that Lark has ever written✨️ Oscar is a year out of the worst thing that has ever happened to him. After escaping an abusive relationship, he still struggles with anxiety and a lo...

Beautifully Savage Butterfly: KM Neuhold

"I'd rather die with Orion's hands around my throat than have anyone else touch me at all." SWOON. And this was before 10% if you can believe it. I'm here ALWAYS for unhinged mafia guys that are obsessive, possessive, "wrong side of the law" type mcs. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 love them. Elio, the underboss of the Moretti family is OBSESSED with an mma fighter. He goes to the sanctioned and the underground fights. He is feral for Orion. Orion HATES the mafia and hates Elio by extension. He's always at his fights and talking to him and just generally BEING THERE. Well, Orion will just have to teach him a lesson. Hate f*cking for the win! But it doesn't stay hatred for long. Elio and Orion get under each other's skin and into each other's lives super quickly. They push and pull each other, and the chemistry is just absolutely off the charts. But other things are always in play. Elio and the Moretti's have crime stuff, and Orion has life and family ...

Love, Utley: SJ Tilly

I couldn't have swooned harder over Maddox if I tried. He is the perfect mix of macho and marshmallows. And Hannah. She was just the absolute best. This story was so good! [Read TACKLED IN THE STACKS the prequel first, you'll thank me later] 15 years after the events of the prequel, Maddox has bought the company Hannah works for - and neither of them knew. LOVE, UTLEY is the second chance romance dreams are made of. It's second chance. It's *made for each other*. It's *they were the opposite of you*. Not only was the romance meter tipping, but the spicy scenes were 🔥🔥🔥. Maddox is possessive as hell. There was such a desperation to both of them. They were so scared that another 15 years would go by, and they'd be separated again. These two had such amazing chemistry. I love the idea that even though circumstances kept them apart, they inevitably were pulled back together. After a reread, I have to say this book is still absolute fire.  Maddox: still dreamy. St...

Tackled in the Stacks: SJ Tilly

*sighs dreamily* I knew that reading this prequel would propell me to rereading LOVE, UTLEY - and that's exactly what I'm starting next. And I am thrilled about it!!! In TACKLED IN THE STACKS, we see how Maddox and Hannah meet each other on campus. We see their instant attraction and watch as their chemistry grows. Maddox is an absolute charmer. Hannah is adorable, and so here for Maddox. And I get it, girl, I am too. We get: 💙 the meet cute 💙 the "stalking" 💙 the library 💙 the overnight 💙 the Count of Monte Cristo 💙 the orange tick taks 💙 the hoodie 💙 the ham sandwich We got other gems I didn't know I needed. I'm leaving that redacted. This was a brilliant little prequel. I'm so glad we got the backstory. It makes me love Hannah and Maddox even more. And I'll admit to this as well: I forgot how much I loved 🐇 LITTLE BUNNY 🐇 *swooning, so hard* TACKLED IN THE STACKS will be available on 08/29. If you love big football players and curvy & ...

Red Zone: Nicole Dykes

Red Zone is the first book in the Big Bend spin off of the  Kinsley series. You'll see familiar faces and experience a similar vibe... Big Bend is, after all, the town next to Kinsley. Think: small town, middle america, football with queer folks finding their community and safety. Dallas will just about break your heart. He's been THRU it, and he is still going through it. It seems like life is getting him from all sides, and the poor man feels doomed to unhappiness for the rest of his life. Enter Colt. Who, in the beginning, seems to have real beef with Dallas. Then we find out why... Colt and Dallas find happiness in a tricky situation & both overcome their issues with their small town. Nicole has really come into her own as far as these small town romance books. She does a great interconnected universe, and I always love a familiar face popping up. I'm glad Dallas was able to find his HEA. He was an absolute sweetheart and a bit of a mess. And who doesn't lo...

Reckless: Kiki Clark

RECKLESS is book one in Kiki Clark's k!nky motorcycle club series. I loved this story and the set up to this very interesting little world. Tank is in prison for assault in Louisiana - he got caught shaking down someone for his MC. He's a big man, so everyone just uses him as muscle. He's determined to do his time and then leave the club. They don't want a queer man in the mc anyway. By chance, Tank signs up for the prison pen pal program where he meets CJ. They quickly realize their interests align, and over time, they begin to plan for a future together. When Tank gets out, he immediately makes his way to Michigan, where CJ lives. All the other things like housing and jobs can be figured out later, Tank needs to be with CJ yesterday. So they met, and they're just as into each other as they were in their letters. CJ is a v!rgin  but happily gives over all decision-making and control to Tank, and then they proceed to bang for like 10% of the book 😂😂😂😂. That 10% ...

Romeo Falling: Jesse H. Reign

Jude and Romeo have been thick as thieves since they were seven. Best friends and soulmates if I've ever read them.  Everything blurs. We get THEN chapters and NOW chapters that distort and blur the lines of reality. A trip to Jude's hometown turns into a fever dream of storytelling where we find out what happened before while experiencing what's happening in the present day.  ROMEO FALLING is only told from Jude's perspective, and he is not the most reliable narrator. He is experiencing five years of reality bending heartbreak and soul crushing pining. He doesn't have the full story, so we don't either.  Romeo is placed lovingly on such a high pedestal that he's idyllic and otherworldly. Like a perfect painting, and when we see flashes of the real character, we are just as confused and awestruck as Jude.  While we're trying to piece events together, we're also forced to pine for Romeo as well. This manic pixie shy boy, who definitely doesn't hav...

Sober Dope & Sundays: Nordika Night

I loved this book. Nordika Night continues to prove why she is a GO-TO author for me, every damn time. SOBER DOPE & SUNDAYS is a weird book with weird characters. This isn't a squishy romcom. Even if it is romantic as hell and sweet with funny moments... more than all else, it's a story with real characters with real experiences. Sobriety and recovery and addiction are always tricky situations for me to read about. But this was like looking through a mirror, and while I loved the characters SO MUCH, I had a lot of reflection time, too. Gage is coming out of rehab for the 8th time. Eighth times, a charm. He's determined. He's ready. While it seems a daunting task, he's about to move back home and face his past. Alexei is the son of an addict. He raised himself and raised his dad, too. He's weird and proud of it. He's complicated and argumentative, but he's not afraid of boundaries and putting himself first. Gage's sponsor Nathan is Alexei...

Silent Vows: Jill Ramsower

This story is beyond over the top. An arranged marriage to form an alliance between the Irish and Italian families in NYC. After the death of her mother, Noemi hasn't spoken a word. It's been six months, and not a peep. *she's obviously got a secret, and I'm not telling what it is* A silent voiceless wife seems like the answer to Conner's arranged marriage problems. It'll make it easier to keep work and wife separate. Not to mention... it'll totally be like a business arrangement. But they meet. And there is serious chemistry. Like off the charts eye contact. *whew* it's hot and intense, I'm telling you. But they both have secrets, not to mention the tensions in their respective families AND the villainous Albanians. I was so invested in the secrets, and then the love story happened. I can see how the Byrne brothers will supply plenty of drama to keep the series going. I'll definitely be reading. If you like MF hetero love, dark romance, una...

Break Me Daddy: Skyler Snow

Break Me Daddy was... an adventure. I loved it because I love ✨️daddy books✨️ and I love mafia books. The brattiness was a little over the top for me, and the push-and-pull was a lot too... but the vibes were still high enough for me to say I loved Six and Amadeo's story.  Six steals a ton of money from a mafia casino and goes on the run. He gets caught. Amadeo, the head of the Bianchi family, says he can "work it off" or he can rot in a cell. The daddy thing is a non-negotiable, too.  So Six gets swept away, in a forced proximity - prisoner- type deal, but he falls in love anyway.  There's lots of running around and various mafia happenings, but overall, the majority of the book is Amadeo being emotionally stunted but horned up for Six and Six either hates Amadeo or wants to bone him. Either way, there's lots of ✨️daddy✨️ happening, and I wasn't mad at all.  If you're looking for something a little dark and ridiculous, this is for you. A little forced pro...

The Amazing Alpha Tau Self Improvement Project: Lisa Henry & Sarah Honey

Just finished up Marty & Dalton's story from the Alpha Tau frat books - it was very cutesy, and SO FUNNY. Marty decides he needs to get his act together, so he emmulates Trey. Trey studies hard and has good grades, and he's gay. So Marty needs a tutor because his grades aren't great,  and a boyfriend to teach him how to be gay. From the boyfriend project, Marty remembers that Dalton is the best gay guy on campus. So he shoots his shot. Dalton is surprised. And then he's into it. Marty is FUN, and Dalton's ex was not fun at all. He was the worst. So Dalton just sort of let's go and gets swept away in Marty's tornado. As funny as this book was *and it was SO FUNNY* Dalton and Marty were both incredibly sweet. There are scenes packed with emotion. Marty is probably the best boyfriend, and Dalton is so in love with him. Let's not forget that I'll never not be able to associate endorphins with dolphins ever again. So so cute. The novella was a riot. M...

The Amazing Alpha Tau Boyfriend Poject: Lisa Henry & Sarah Honey

So I started THE AMAZING ALPHA TAU BOYFRIEND PROJECT because fraternity and sorority content on my fyp is blowing up... and OMG! Why did it take me SO LONG to read this book?! It's ADORABLE. So cute and squishy. Eli and Archer meet at a wedding. Eli shoots his shot, but Archer is adorably clueless. What starts as a soft "I'm straight" text leads to a bro-ship and then a BROMANCE. Archer decides he and his frat are going to help Eli get a boyfriend. Because he genuinely thinks Eli is perfect and is shook that Eli is currently boyfriendless. The story gets cuter and more absurd. There's a checklist. And date-vetting. There's brojobs *totally no homo 🙄😂* and there is just SO MUCH laughter. The mcs and the side characters are constantly snarking at each other, and some of the situations that pop up are genuinely absurd and hilarious. But through it all, it's pretty obvious that Archer and Eli are super into each other. It just takes forever for them to f...

Angel: Linden Bell

ANGEL is book 3 in the Camboy Network series. And boy, howdy was it spicy. You should know that going into it. In Angel, we get Rhys' story. One of the original four characters that kicked off the series. Rhys is the self-proclaimed "sassy" one. He's a camboy (obviously) and a pole dancer. At his parents' house for a birthday dinner, he reconnects with Angel, the very straight & very bear like exfootball player turned construction worker. Angel may be a big burly man, but he's soft and sweet, and the nickname "teddy bear" fits for a reason. The attraction is instant but confusing for Angel since he assumes he's straight. But he can't deny the need he has to be around Rhys. The conversation drifts to Rhys' profession, and the "gay for pay" conversation happens.  But let's be real. It was never about the money. Angel needed time to figure himself out, and Rhys spent all the time falling head over heels for Angel. While I l...

Goodnight: Kelly Fox

Just finished up my reread of GOODNIGHT and *sighs dramatically* That really hit the spot. Goodnight can be enjoyed as is, but it's best if you've read all of Kelly's books - which I highly recommend because she's one of my favorites. Her universe building is top tier. Goodnight is Trip & Sam's story. Trip is a cowboy: loves his ranch and working the land. Sam is a camboy: a survivor and just wants to heal and be happy. It doesn't hurt that there's a sexy cowboy on the ranch next door to pine for. These two have a meet cute involving a rattle snake, a shotgun, and a charming rescue. We get both mcs backstories, which leads to a brilliant demi-awakening facilitated by an OF account. It's fun watching these two be dumb for each other, and we get awesome side characters that will branch out into brilliant story lines *I know this because I've read them! The CRAZIEST thing I've got from this reread is JASON JENNINGS. I'm a longtime fan o...

The Silencer: Cora Rose

❤️🖤 Anthony and Tatum 🖤❤️ I just finished reading The Silencer, the next book by Cora Rose, and OH. MY. GOD. Mafia goodness mixed with the humor that Rose is known for and the spice 🔥🥵 bless my heart. You're reading the review my ghost is typing. R.I.P me. This book had me hooked from the beginning. Tatum finds himself in a bad situation in a bar, in a seedier part of town *we don't victim blame in this house* The only person that could possibly be capable of helping Tatum is his best friend Angel's father, Anthony. The mob boss. Anthony swoops in like an avenging angel, takes Tatum home to his compound, and the stage is set. There are so many side characters I love and need backstories on! And the cameos from [redacted!] But the main draw of this story was Anthony and Tatum. Anthony, the mob boss who definitely has a few screws loose. He's possessive and obsessive (we love to see it!), and once he gives in... he is IN. Tatum was a tornado of sass and sweetness and ...

Bellamy: Linden Bell

Bellamy is book two in the Camboy Network series, and SPOILER ALERT: I LOVED IT! We get broody, grumpy, bad boy Noel  & smiley, golden retriever, sunshine Bellamy. They're "rivals" - and it's entertaining AF. From the get-go, Bellamy irritates Noel. Like, who is that happy all the time? No one. And Noel hates it in all his scowling fury. Bellamy's reaction, most of the time, is to just laugh it off or SMIRK which only infuriates Noel more. Bellamy knows there's more under the scowls and snark that Noel's whole bad boy schtict is just that, an act. Eventually, their tension and chemistry is just too much, and it boils over. It isn't hate f*cking. There's way too many feelings involved. And there are BIG BIG FEELINGS. As Bellamy and Noel get to know each other, secrets are revealed, and the plot starts plotting. If you like spice in your romance, this is IT. Every spicy scene was 🥵🌶👀🔥 - the chemistry is just that undeniable. At a certain...

Sebastian: Linden Bell

Sebastian: Camboy Network # 1 was absolutely amazing. Truly. This book was a perfect mix of spicy steam, romance,  and good storytelling. I can already tell this series is going to be full of great tropes and an incredible found family group. Sebastian is a camboy by trade & data nerd on Mondays. He's trying out a new gym and runs across a man he thinks looks familiar. But it can't be HIM. Could it?! *insert adorably over the top internal meltdowns over CHRIS PREACHER* Christian is a retired "legendary" p*rn star turned personal trainer. During a new client's free session, he gets asked to collaborate on a 🌶  video with his alluring new client. The CHEMISTRY and tension and magnetism between Sebastian and Christian are OFF THE CHARTS. The scenes were kindle melting. I thought it was wonderful that at the beginning of the story, Sebastian was so enamored with his idol. Sebastian constantly referred to Christian (internally) with his stage name: Chris Preacher....

Roommate Arrangement: Saxon James

Reading Forgotten Romance made me remember how much I loved Beau and Payne's story from book one of the DMC series, Roommate Arrangement.  Payne leaves his husband after he learns of a multi year long affair(s) & [redacted!] - going home to his hometown to start over and pick his wounds seems like the best idea. Get as far away from Kyle as you can! Beau is a writer and has been in love with his best friend's brother, Payne, for over twenty years. But don't feel sorry for him, it is what it is.  With Payne needing a room to stay in, and Beau needing someone to help him with innumerable things - it seemed like being roommates would be the answer for both of them. What neither mc's were expecting was the comradery and the chemistry. Secrets get shared, quirks get identified, and we experience so many little moments that build up to an explosive *winky face* situation. Neither thinks they're good enough for the other, but Beau has one thing on his side. He loves Pa...

Covington Acres: Riley Hart

I am so in my feelings right now. Real talk: If you wanna read a spectacularly written ace spectrum or aro spectrum book, Riley ALWAYS does it to perfection. Believe me. COVINGTON ACRES brings us back to Briar County, NC. And I'm so glad to be here, honestly. This little town has my heart, and these characters are absolutely brilliant. Colby Covington is the baby of the Covington family. At 40, he works at his family's farm because that's what he's always done. He dates because that's what he's expected to do. But now it's "Colby’s never going to grow up." or "You should think about settling down." He tries to be everything for his family, but he doesn't really know himself or what he wants. Vince O’Brien (yes, THAT VINCE!) moves to Briar County after a bad breakup. He is starting over for the last time. He's giving up on relationships. He's a hookup man from now on. What he doesn't expect is to fall into the friendship o...

Flash: KM Neuhold

FLASH by KM Neuhold was a damn delight. I was laughing and cackling and swooning right along with Lewis. Neuhold has the ability to mix the mundane absurdity of everyday life with love stories that make it feel like YES. A disaster twink florist like Lewis exists. A loveable silver fox tattooer exists. Of course, they fall in love. Lewis is "too much" - he's needy, obsessive, and regularly puts the cart before the horse in relationships. Arrow is "too much" - he's obsessive, possessive, and very much "he's mine." He's the guy daydreaming proposals before two weeks. They meet in a rain storm. On the side of the road. The chemistry is instant. This book has a ton of ridiculous antics. Loveable queer tattooer bikers and drama prone florists. There's a prank war, stories of previous INSTANCES at a car garage 😂😂😂😂😂, found family, oblivious dummies, rubber ducks, a traveling petting zoo cameo, Gregory *a teeny tiny dog*, plant puns, and ...

Renovating Law: Tia Fielding & Kris T. Bethke

Black Dog Inn book 2 I was so excited to jump back into this little universe. I read book one yesterday, and I can confirm that book two was just as good! Especially if you're here for age gap romance *14 years*, single dad vibes, found family + actual family, adorable kids, "it takes a village", religious trauma, what amounts to emotional backlash from escaping a cult, healthy communication, dogs, and amazing side characters that keep the story going. There was even a hint of very light (barely discernable), but there, primal play. Law is a family man. He's raising his three kids and trying to navigate a divorce. When his mother goes too far, Law decides to make the move cross country to be in Fairville with his brother Charlie (+ crew!) Oak escaped his abusive and toxic family and moved to Fairville to be with his non-endoctrinated family. He starts work at the Black Dog Inn. He's getting his life together but can't seem to stop his crush on the handsome sin...

Renovating Charlie: Tia Fielding & Kris T. Bethke

The Black Dog Inn book 1 Talk about a story that blew me away! I chose it on a whim... and I'm so glad I did! REBUILDING CHARLIE is an amazing story. It's a love story, a found family story, and a survivor's story with amazing mental health representation. I ate this one up, y'all! Charlie moves across the country where his college best friend and her wife are renovating and operating a motel - The Black Dog Inn. Charlie seems to be doing a little bit of everything there while trying to live in his newly nontoxic environment. Teague is a gentle giant of a man. But he has a bad meet-disaster with Charlie *who he is immediately taken with.* While Charlie and Teague maneuver around misunderstandings and boundries all while getting to know each other, and eat a monstrous amount of cupcakes - we get to know all these great side characters, and the doggos, and assorted relatives & neighbors. We also learn a little bit about Charlie's body dysmorphia, and even though i...

Humility: Lark Taylor

Oh, WOW. This story was... so incredibly good. 💚 Alpha wolf shifter/human 💚 Friends to lovers 💚 IDIOTS to lovers 💚 Co-dependency 💚 F*c kb oi meets f*c kb oi 💚 Chosen mates I'm not really sure what I was expecting when I started HUMILITY. But I can tell you I SHOULD have known that Lark Taylor would pack an emotional punch - like she always does. Humility was a great blend of humor, cuteness, ridiculousness, dummies, found family, shifters, possessiveness, codependency, grief, and love. Throughout this story, I laughed, gasped, cried, and even cheered! In the other books, I was never really attached to Danny or Riley, but now I want to reread the series, from the beginning, to see them as side characters once again. Riley and Danny are absolute dum mies. Honestly. They loved each other SO MUCH, and their obliviousness was out of this world. Maybe even uncharted. It was so cute and ridiculous. This wouldn't be a Lark book if there wasn't a BIG Moment, and Humi...

Doc: Abrianna Denae

Did I like this book? YES. Absolutely. Was I frustrated with one part? YES! Don't worry, I'll tell you why. Doc is the main doctor for the Amato crime family. He's close with the boss. He's even closer with his own bodyguard, James. When the clinic crew finds itself short staffed because [reasons] - a new nurse is brought in to help. Enter Soren, straight from the Bratva. While Doc gives major BRAT & psycho vibes, Soren gives control, DOM, and DADDY vibes. Even if he's younger and twinkier. These two mcs dance around each other a while before deciding to take the plunge. 💙 younger daddy/older boy 💙 consensual non-monogamy 💙 mafia adjacent 💙 doctor/nurse 💙 watersports & blo od pl ay 💙 very casual mentions of major kink 💙 pain kin k & degradation & impact play While this book was spicy, and it was fun being in a world I never visited before with a new to me author - my main issue came down to a specific situation with the mcs. I...

Forgotten Romance: Saxon James

I'll admit to you, my dear friends, I was nervous about reading this. I worried it would be too angsty or just too sad. But I didn't stop to think it was a SAXON JAMES book, I really should have because I enjoyed this one. Forgotten Romance isn't at all like I was expecting, and I'm glad, because again... I was nervous! Mack and Davey are married. They LOVE each other SO MUCH. They have two little kiddos. They have a nice house and good friends. Seems idyllic, yes? But Davey is a workaholic who is gone and traveling half the month. Mack is at home, missing his husband, raising two babies, and losing his identity. At the end of his rope, Mack suggests a divorce on a whim, expecting Davey to figure out a way to be home more. To put his family first. But Davey agrees to the divorce, and the story starts. Two years later, Davey is home for 3 months. They both have the idea to woo the other back. But has the situation really changed? They both still love each other, but is ...

The Bro Pact: Charli Meadows

Oh. My. God. This book! I am such a sucker for a good best friends to lovers story, and this book delivered! Right before freshman year of college ends, Kyle's girlfriend breaks up with him. Being the planning type, this bump in the road to his future confuses and hurts Kyle. Ren (Warren) is Kyle's bestie. They've been best friends since they were in first grade. Seeing Kyle so miserable is a big no-no for Ren. On a whim, the way Ren works best, he causally mentions the RV his father bought to flip and says ✨️ Let's go on a road trip! No girls for the summer. Just two best friends on an adventure in an rv to the coast ✨️ and it works! So the stage is set. Kyle and Ren take off in "Carmen" the rv. They go on their adventure and find more than just landmarks and the ocean. They realize they're better together than not. This story instantly hooked me. Their friendship was amazing, but their chemistry was off the freaking charts. And the spice was spicing 🔥🔥...

The beginning

There's nothing more that I love than reading and sharing that love with others. I've been reading and reviewing for years, and I've yet to branch out into the blog arena. Maybe it's time to try. I'm starting off simple. I'll post the reviews of books I read here. Maybe I'll add extra thoughts if I'm feeling rambly. There are certainly many ideas floating around my brain, but there's time. Hoping that however you find this, you get at least one rec - and maybe you'll find your new favorite book!
