Roommate Arrangement: Saxon James

Reading Forgotten Romance made me remember how much I loved Beau and Payne's story from book one of the DMC series, Roommate Arrangement. 

Payne leaves his husband after he learns of a multi year long affair(s) & [redacted!] - going home to his hometown to start over and pick his wounds seems like the best idea. Get as far away from Kyle as you can!

Beau is a writer and has been in love with his best friend's brother, Payne, for over twenty years. But don't feel sorry for him, it is what it is. 

With Payne needing a room to stay in, and Beau needing someone to help him with innumerable things - it seemed like being roommates would be the answer for both of them.

What neither mc's were expecting was the comradery and the chemistry. Secrets get shared, quirks get identified, and we experience so many little moments that build up to an explosive *winky face* situation.

Neither thinks they're good enough for the other, but Beau has one thing on his side. He loves Payne. Unconditionally. Through everything and anything. Payne just needs to catch up. 

This story is incredible. It's a book for all the unrequited loves out there. Sometimes, it works out. 

I absolutely recommend this story & this series. Out of all six books, Beau and Payne's story is my favorite. It's giving... Persuasion. It's giving PINING. It's giving EVERYTHING.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
