Alpha Tau Pledge Project & novella Make Up Sex: Lisa Henry and Sarah Honey

Just finished up The Amazing Alpha Tay Pledge Project & the shorty novella, Make Up Se x. I LOVED Casey and Briar's story. 

Casey is pledge master & social chair for Alpha Tau. He was reluctant to join the frat. He had misconceptions as to what Alpha Tau would be, but they're proud of "not being your grand daddy's frat" and regularly show that with how inclusive and accepting they are. 

When rush rolls around, the new pledges are pretty great except for one douche bag dude bro and a spitfire man, with the prettiest face... 

Briar left his old college for Lassiter and pledged Alpha Tau to be safe. He's broody and moody and quick to temper. He's also femme, and everyone in his life has treated him terribly over it. 

The femme part pops up when the frat and their sister sorority have a contest as to who could sell the most candy bars. Knowing the girls have it easier with boobs and skirts, the guys decide the dress code for the sale is skirts and heels. Most look silly, some kinda pull it off in good humor, but Briar... Briar is stunning. 

Casey learns he likes Briar way more than he thought; not just his looks, his softer side, and his smiles. 

But it's not smooth sailing for Casey and Briar. There's a couple of side plots, and Briar has some secrets. Their romance has some bumps and fits & starts. But I love them together.

Make Up Sex, the novella, is just a tiny short story about Briar and Casey away for the weekend. They have lots of sex, and make up is involved. Very THEM. Very cute. There is also a nickname revealed, and I was HERE FOR IT. ✨️and so was Casey✨️

Lisa and Sarah deliver another banger with the Alpha Tau boys. We get Casey and Briar. We get a new side character, Charlie, who I think is up next in book four! I also love a series where they keep bringing back characters. I loved seeing Eli & Archer and Marty and Squirell *with lots of Dalton being mentioned*. We also get Trey, who is the president of the frat now! And Scout, our brooding, possibly sociopathic, rich boy. All of which reminds me that I haven't read Bro Jobs the prequel novella of the series. I need to do that today! 

Don't let the covers fool you. This series is a knockout. I've loved every book and every little shorty.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
