I couldn't have swooned harder over Maddox if I tried. He is the perfect mix of macho and marshmallows. And Hannah. She was just the absolute best. This story was so good!

LOVE, UTLEY is the second chance romance dreams are made of. It's second chance. It's *made for each other*. It's *they were the opposite of you*.

Not only was the romance meter tipping, but the spicy scenes were 🔥🔥🔥. Maddox is possessive as hell. There was such a desperation to both of them. They were so scared that another 15 years would go by, and they'd be separated again.

These two had such amazing chemistry. I love the idea that even though circumstances kept them apart, they inevitably were pulled back together.

After a reread, I have to say this book is still absolute fire. 


Maddox: still dreamy. Still swoony. Still hot.

Hannah: still awesome.

Chelsea and Ruth: still sweet.

Brandon: still an absolute creep.

Donut guy: still a bro.

Y'all, I LOVED THIS STORY. I saw it available to arc read, and I took a chance. I am SO glad I did. I loved Cash & Wilder. If you love cowboy romances, 10/10 recommend this one. The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
