I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Y'all, I LOVED THIS STORY. I saw it available to arc read, and I took a chance. I am SO glad I did. I loved Cash & Wilder. If you love cowboy romances, 10/10 recommend this one. I've been crying off and on throughout the entire book. Wilder was such an amazing character. His back story was TOP TIER, and how he got introduced to the story kept me engaged the entire time. Omega's Heart is one of my favorite books. This series is amazing and has stellar world building. It's especially perfect if you like abo stories or shifter stories. Basically, we're in a world where shifters are real. The government decides to put them in enclaves, and Alphas are in charge of their own enclave. There are, and I'm going from memory here so I may miss one: Los Padres, Winter Moon, White River, Persiguir, Montana Border, Jackson-Jellystone, Nevada Ashes, Honisloonz, Salma Wood, Jordan Bay, Green Moon, and of course, MERCY HILLS. There are also "true omegas" and lots of lore around the true omegas being lucky or having "powers." It's WILD. ANYWAY. Omega's Heart is Felix and Kaden's story. Romeo and HIS JULIET were EPIC. I loved these two so much & I love this universe, too.  Romeo is the underboss of NYCs Italian mafia. He's a playboy and a jokester with a "monster" that unleashes when he needs to spill blood.  Juliet has had the absolute worst time of things. She's agoraphobic and has only a few safe spaces, one of which is the bookstore where she works & where she meets Romeo for the first time.  This story had me hooked from the get-go. I was dialed in and heavily invested. We get an amazing love story, mafia hijinx, great back stories, and CAMEOS of the folks from book one.  I loved Romeo's absolute devotion. This series is totally underrated. The Black Dog Inn series is wonderful and packed to the brim with found family goodness with a dash of hurt/comfort & soulmates. All three are available now! RESTORING FELIX is all about our grumpy antique store owner, Felix. He was involved in an accident five years ago and suffers from severe chronic pain. My heart hurt for him. He was stubborn and understandably grumpy. Lord knows it's hard to ask for or accept help. Kellan moves to town to teach at the local school. He finds out the man he shared a magical weekend with five years ago is in the same town. Is this fate?! Kellan is a romantic at heart. Felix tries to scare Kellan away, Kellan fights back. Their friend group is heavily involved with the meddling. They get it together eventually. I enjoyed the hell out of this story. I loved seeing Felix lower the walls around himself. I was scrolling through KU and saw PRISON MATED and was oddly intrigued. What WOULD happen if an alpha and omega met in human prison? My only real issue was that when Feth and Logan are out of prison, the story just ends. Like, what happened? Where did they go? What happens when they get there? I needed at least 10 more chapters to find out. This was a fun and quick read. I wish i knew more about each main character. I liked both of them and was happy when Logan got his head out of his ass LOL Recommended if you like abo stories! Again, this was a quickie!

For the record: I LOVED this book. I LOVE this series. I LOVE this author. FEROCIOUS was amazing. It delivered, as I expected, a killer story & a brilliant romance. I was entertained in a big way and oddly emotional over a plant. This can absolutely be read as a standalone. I haven't read any of this series in order, and I loved them all anyway. I even still have one left, LOL. Rowan is a ride share driver, and his life is chaos. Like a cute Tasmanian devil. He's weird and sweet underneath. He's been alone a long time. The story kicks off when his car is stolen. On paper, Charlie has everything he wants. But the guy is miserable and lonely. Like, heartbreakingly lonely. Kind of like Rowan. I LOVED this one. UNHINGED LITTLE ANGEL was an awesome story that had me feeling all the feels. Dante is a stripper/dancer and has had a flirt/sass/hurt vibe thing with Salvatore, one of the capos of the Moretti family for a while now. I was jonesing for Salvatore and Dante's story all throughout the first two books, and they ABSOLUTELY delivered. The chemistry? Off the charts. The sexual tension? Bangin'. The spicy scenes? 10/10. Not to give too much of the story away: but Dante needs help, and instead of asking, he drugs and kidnaps Salvatore and concocts this hilarious fake marriage thing. Which is totally on brand for Dante level chaos. Salvatore, who has been enamored by Dante since day one, just rolls with it and makes everything perfect. Salvatore's nickname for Dante gave me LIFE. Just on the vibes alone, I'm saying this was a five star read for me. I LOVED Lennox and Jensen. Lennox dances at PEACHES. All his friends do, too, and I can not wait to read all the books!!!! Omg! Anyway, Lennox dances at Peaches. Jensen is Lennox's brother Nick's best friend. For like ever. Showing up to his boss's bachelor party, Jensen sees Lennox in a NEW light. Maybe Jensen isn't as straight as he thinks he is. All these characters are great ✨️except for Marvin, I can already tell✨️ and well written. Like, honestly. I want all the dancers to get books. Jensen and Lennox navigate their growing attraction, and LUST, and their own issues. There's lots of skirt wearing, sweetness, dirty talk, and friendship. This book was SWEET as hell.
