His Juliet: Empire of Royals book 2: Emilia Rossi

Romeo and HIS JULIET were EPIC. I loved these two so much & I love this universe, too. 

Romeo is the underboss of NYCs Italian mafia. He's a playboy and a jokester with a "monster" that unleashes when he needs to spill blood. 

Juliet has had the absolute worst time of things. She's agoraphobic and has only a few safe spaces, one of which is the bookstore where she works & where she meets Romeo for the first time. 

This story had me hooked from the get-go. I was dialed in and heavily invested. We get an amazing love story, mafia hijinx, great back stories, and CAMEOS of the folks from book one. 

I loved Romeo's absolute devotion. I loved how real Juliet seemed. I loved how hard she fell when she realized she was safe. I loved ✨️to hate✨️ this book's baddie. Noodle continued to be the best boy, Queenie was a cute edition, too. Matteo continues to be the loveable disaster he his, and I LOVED their little scene in "the ring." 

Juliet was an amazing character, and Romeo was top-tier ✨️mine✨️ mafia goodness. 

I can't recommend either of these books enough. They were entertaining and enjoyable af!

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
