Gone Country: Central Texas book 3: Kelly Fox
🎶 Here you come again, looking better than a body has a right to, and shaking me up so that all I really know is here you come again, and here I go 🎶
Oh lordy, did I love GONE COUNTRY. I knew I would. But Kelly still finds little ways to surprise me. And I can't get Dolly Parton out of my head, which... I'm not mad about it. But the scene with that song WAS SO DAMN ROMANTIC.
Kit, the rancher businessman, divorcee, and coparent with a knee problem. Skylar, the pretty ex-sugar baby, orthopedic nurse, with a pension for lingerie. Literally... do I need to say more? PERFECT GIVE ME 1500 OF THEM.
But we get Kit and Sky figuring it out. We get their love story. We also get CAMEOS from some of Kelly's other books. And I was 100% here for it. The scream I scrumpt was real.
The dynamics at the Baker Dude Ranch were cool, too. The coparenting aspect. REED was an absolute delight. I loved seeing Rowdy and Stevie, too.
But really, the folks who stole the show were Kit and Skylar. Kit's goodness kept drawing me in. What a sweetheart. And Skylar, the patient king, holding out for his HEA. I'm so glad he got it.
GONE COUNTRY is out 04/16. I adored this romantic story so so much, and I'm sad this little series is over.
