The Prez: RS McKenzie

Oh this was a treat! Motorcycle Club President Nanny Plus size rep Give me MORE!!! Rafael is a grumbly Motorcycle club president. He's grumpy, but a lot is simmering under his surface. When he suddenly finds himself with custody of his baby nephew, he needs a nanny. He was not expecting Omari. Omari is EVERYTHING. These two were absolutely fire. Big Raf was everything I love in a growly mc and Omari was everything I love about a sunshine mc. The plot was plotting so hard, and never having read the previous books didn't hinder the experience at all. This motorcycle club was off the rails with drama... it was entertaining af. I love that Omari was ✨️chubby✨️ and I kove that Raf was HERE FOR IT.

Good Pucking Luck 💜 blurb reveal!

I'm so excited about this book! I love a good hockey romance, and Riley never lets me down. December 4th isn't too far away! See how good this sounds?! 💜💜 Hayes  Proposing to my first boyfriend at a hockey game wasn’t my smartest move. Not only does said boyfriend walk out on me, but the whole stupid thing goes viral, and it turns out the man I was dating has too many boyfriends to count. Internet fame has crowned me a member of the Jilted Exes’ Club, a name I’d do anything to escape.  One thing’s for sure: I’m not making the same mistake again. No more boyfriends, just easy hookups. And I’ll start with this gorgeous catch in Seattle. The only problem…he’s a god in bed, and I’m an inexperienced mess.  💜💜 Rylan  After a night with Hayes, I play some of the best games of my career. It’s meant to be a one-and-done deal, but when I find out he also lives in LA and doesn’t want anything serious, I see an opportunity.  Hayes wants experience. I want my good-luck c...

Sweet Like Whiskey: Emmy Sanders

If you're looking for low angst high swoon - with COWBOYS 👀 look no further. For real, I swooned so hard I almost fell over. Ash and Jackson are DARLING. I loved them so so so much. The gruff but super soft and sweet cowboy. The bright sunshiney smiley new guy. The humming & singing. The damned donkey. The entire Darling family. Everything in this book screamed romance and idyllic. These two characters were obviously made for each other. I adored them. I obviously can't spoil the story, I went in blind and want you too as well. Needless to say, I need so many more Darling brother books. We know where Colt will end up, and I'm thinking I know Lawson's intended... but Remi... he's a mystery. I loved every moment with him. Ash was wonderful. I loved his quirks, and the figurine, and the honest & frank way he approached things. His feelings. His chronic pain. Jackson was a big hearted cowboy with kindness & a thoughtfulness as big as the sky. Wh...

Dear Rosie: SJ Tilly

My heart. She's killed me! I'm d-e-a-d. I knew going in that Dear Rosie would be amazing, and I was thrilled to be proven correct. SJ Tilly remains a favorite autoread author for me. Nathan and Rosie are childhood besties, and Nathan is the bright spot in Rosie's life. But suddenly, when she's eight years old, Nathan has to move away. Two and a half decades later, Nate shows up to his bffs party and has an instant attraction to the ------, which just happens to be Rosalyn. She recognizes him instantly, but he doesn't remember her. That is literally all i can say because I will not spoil this for you. But oh my god, the FEELS. I cried so many times, right along with the mcs. And the spice. 🤯🌶😱🥵 Jesus. As much as I loved this love story, Charles was my favorite. If you know, you know. If you're looking for an exfootball player/curvy queen, second chance, and literally so much more - this book was amazing. And the perfect addition to the Love Letters series. I ...

On the Edge: Annabeth Albert

On the Edge is the next installment in Annabeth Albert's Mount Hope series. Y'all, we are talking about low drama dad's best friend romance. Declan is a motocross rider and gets hurt during a race. Not wanting to go home to his dad's place, he moves into the "big house" and slowly over time grows closer and closer to Jonas, his dad's best friend. This book is low angst and deals a lot with internalized homophobia and struggling to come out. This is a wonderful found family series, and seeing these queer first responders & helpers fall in love is an absolute treat. I'm excited for Eric's story and to be sucked back into all the drama the teens create. ON THE EDGE is out tomorrow! And all the other Mount Hope books and the novella are available now if you're wanting to read about a fire chief or a football coach or an emt  or an overworked nurse practioner 😂😂😂 there's lots of falling in love happening in Mount Hope.

Curious: Leslie McAdam

I think it's pretty safe to say, I love a Leslie McAdam story. Recently she put her entire IOU series up for free on amazon, and I swooped in like a bird of prey. I definitely started out of order, because CURIOUS sounded the most appealing at the moment. A contractor and a receptionist fake marry for insurance but fall in love along the way. You get a bi awakening and an mc who doesn't feel worthy of love, but learns that he is. Camden and Shelby were absolutely lovely. Camden is the sweetest man in the world, and Shelby is so tenderhearted. I loved them together and their story was this side if heartwrenching. Shelby went through A LOT in his life and if a ever there was a character who needed a good HEA, it was him - and I'm so glad that Camden was there to love him. Loved this story, love this universe too. I'm excited to read the rest of the books!

More than Enough: B Harmony

Earlier this month, I read ✨️and loved!✨️ Part-time Daddy by B Harmony. There's a moment when the mcs mention Eric & Daddy Sawyer. This was their book! Perfect if you're jonesing for older boy/ younger daddy with age play. There's all kinds of kink happening between our mcs and also their extended friend groups *separately, not together*. Not to mention, the club, The Garden! Eric is about to give up in ever finding a Daddy. He's older and not what most daddy's are looking for. His bff asks him to give it one more chance. Sawyer is suffering with ptsd & loss from.his time overseas as a Marine. He doesn't feel like he can be the Daddy he wants to be any longer - worried he's too broken & too scary for Littles. His bff makes a deal, one more outing to the club, and he will never ask again. The stage is set. Eric and Sawyer meet and it's instant chemistry. Their kinks align, and their relationship blasts off. There's a lot of big feelin...

The Cowboy and the Rascal: Jackie North

This was my first Jackie North book, and apparently she's got 2 series with cowboys... so this won't be my last. If you're looking for a romance without a lot of spice but heavy on the storytelling and character building - this may be for you. Blaze was in prison for two years doing time for a crime he didn't commit. *seriously, he didn't, it was his brother* Getting early release and into a parole program that seems too good to be true leads Blaze right into the path of Gabe, the team leader and project manager of the Farthingdale Valley parolee project. Again this story wasn't heavy on spice, it was more of a slow into feelings. I enjoyed it, and will probably download the next book just to see what happens next LOL

Sailor Proof: Annabeth Albert

Annabeth Albert is so good at delivering big feelings. In Sailor Proof, we get Navy Cheif Derek & musician/composer Arthur. We get fake dating. Viral kisses on deck after deployment. Family reunion vacations. Learning to ✨️be you✨️ Big declarations. First time. Jock/nerd vibes. Family & found family. Big moments. Big feelings. I read this when it came.out, and I loved it then. I loved it now too. I love when a book holds up. Sailor Proof was a great read. Low angst and squishy feelings. I was here for it.

Smoke Signals: B Harmony

This one was from the tbr pile 🖤🖤🖤 Smoke Signals was a sweet story with Dylan and his smokin' hot fire captain Shane. If you're looking for a small town romance with a closeted older character, an age gap, anxiety rep, & two absolute cuties in off the wall found family situations - look no further. This really was a cute story and the 250+ pages went really fast. I loved Dylan's sweetness and relatablity & Shane's very understandable fear. This may be book 3 in a series, but ita cool as a standalone alone! I really enjoyed this one!

Kiss Kill Thrill Me, Daddy: Lance Lansdale

Yesterday, I read Kiss Kill Thrill Me, Daddy. This book was absolutely bonkers. To really lose yourself in the insanity, you'll need to read book one. Again, I repeat, this story was bonkers. Tatum and Abi were legit crazy and were totally obsessed with each other in weirder and weirder ways. Reading this book and these characters almost made me feel like I took too much benadryl. Like, everything was loopy and over the top. Abi "kidnaps" Tatum at the end(ish) of book one for reasons only known if you've read book one. When book two starts, it's 6 months later, and Tatum is still "kidnapped" and living with the folks at the Winawana. I honestly can't even break down everything that happens on this story because it's cracky, and you'll only really enjoy it if you're reading yourself. Needless to say, this book was funny and fun, and the spice between the mcs was constant and progressively weirder *no shade* until the book just sort of ends...

Monstrous series: 1-3 Lily Mayne

Monsters & demons are not usually my thing. Let's get real. But everyone has raved about this series, and I needed something NOT contemporary to read. Things are still a bit shitty here post Helene, and I needed something far removed from reality to distract my brain. I gave Soul Eater a shot, and oh my god. Talk about falling hard. Wyn and Danny got me invested, and I've been chugging along, loving every one so far. So here's some mini reviews of the first three books & an update on where I am in the series. Soul Eater: book one Danny & Wyn, the Soul Eater. Lots of post apocalypse world building. Danny is hope and soft kindness and Wyn is a monster with a task. The love they share is beautiful & Danny's openness along with Wyn's vulnerability - a beautiful combination for a sweet love story with some interesting spicy times. Edin: book two Edin & Hunter Edin finds Hunter in a sinkhole and rescues him. But Hunter is on a mission to save his bff C...

Easton: Riley Hart

OMG. This book!!! EASTON hits some pretty serious topics, but it still has that classic touch of Riley Hart that just tugs at your heartstrings. Easton, the youngest Swift brother, lost his twin sister when he was 9 and has never gotten over it. The whole family has so much going on and so much toxicity, and their dad did SO MUCH to mess them up... it's a miracle Easton was as sweet as he was under all of that ✨️mad sad boy✨️ Archer, our loveable cop, was such a big hearted & hard loving man. He was ALL-IN and made loving Easton his number one priority. It was never about "fixing" Easton. It was about giving him the love he deserved. My favorite part, outside the romance, was the fact that loving Archer wasn't Easton's magic fix. He needed lots of help and healing, and sometimes the only way to find that is with professional HELP. Loving Archer opened the door of Easton's heart so he could get help. Love wasn't the big fix. Easton was a wonderful book ...

Popped: Anthology *multiple authors*

Picking You: T. Ashleigh Kenneth and the Pixie  When can you tell if you're in love or crushing on your bff? Well, you could always give your virginity to a tornado Pixie with a chaotic heart of gold? Yep, that will do the trick. This was fun. Cute. And laugh out loud silly. Cherry Ice: Addison Beck Levi & Mav When Levi gets asked out by the college cool guy, he panics. He has no experience. He does the only thing he can think of. He asks his life long best friend Mav to practice with him. What Levi doesn't realize? This kick starts Mav's feelings. Or, uncovers them, at least. The more alevi and Mav practice, the more the lines get blurred. These two are totally nerdy, and so so cute. The New Guy: Nicole Dykes Fallon and Finley in Kensley The Jock and the new guy with tattoos and lavender hair, and piercings. The perfect jaded/sunshine story in a small town. Cherry Picking: Becca Jackson Noah and Patrick Noah creates an app in college, the cherry picking app, and basica...

Inheriting Miss Fortune: Lucy Lennox

I love this universe so much! I was absolutely delighted to get back to Majestic Wyoming. Dev is a horse man. A rancher. An emotionally damaged loner with a core group of friends. He has a giant heart hidden under his broody cowboy exterior. Tully is a buttoned up, fancy, city boy lawyer. He is on his way to track down Dev with a SURPRISE. Our two mcs have a past, and now guess what happens when they're in each other's path again... you know what happens! It's amazing, and I don't want to spoil a second of it! I LOVED this book. I loved Tully & Dev. I loved all the side characters. I love the town and all the found family vibes. Lucy Lennox is a wordsmith when it comes to small town romance and big feelings. I enjoyed the hell out of this story, and I know I said this already, but I loved being back in Majestic. This series is SUCH a banger. INHERITING MISS FORTUNE is out October 8th, TOMORROW. If you're looking for surprise single dad vibes, big intense chemist...

The Husband Experience: Maya Jean

I love the feeling of finishing a book and knowing it has become a favorite. I just read The Husband Experience by Maya Jean, and good lord. This book is absolutely incredible. The characters: immaculate The setting: gorgeous The story: so heartbreakingly good The Husband Experience was beautiful. Truly. I fell in love with the characters while they were falling in love with each other. Maya Jean can write a story, let me tell you. I was dragged in and held completely captivated by Eli and Colby. Colby, trying to move on from the loss of his husband, is encouraged to rent a boyfriend for a week. Rip the band aid off, so to speak. He knows he's ready to move on. This is just a push. Eli is hired to give "the husband experience" for the first week in July. 50k and a vacation? Sounds ideal. He's a professional.  From the moment, literally the moment, these two meet - everything they both thought the week would be gets derailed. They fell in love in 6 days, and what a bea...

Fuck Marry Kill Me, Daddy: Lance Lansdale

This book was absolutely unhinged. Like, if you've ever read cracky fanfic, that's the vibe.  Brody is a hitman, and he's been hired to take out Scotty. Brody is not usually bad at his job, but he just can't seem to seal the deal with Scotty.  Scotty is a lonely man and very, very crazy. He notices Brody stalking him and just assumes that Brody is into him.  Thus begins their "murder daddy" game. Brody can't deny he is into Scotty, and Scotty is unabashedly obsessed with his new Daddy.  There are hilarious threats of murder, battling internalized homophobia, gratuitous violence, being on the run, and lots of off the wall sex and dirty talk.  I honestly wanted to stop reading because it was so weird, but I had to keep going. I wanted to see how it was going to end.  This book was extremely entertaining. If you're gonna read it, go into expecting weird and alternate reality vibes.  In the end, Scotty got his murder daddy, and I was absolutely here for it...

Kelly Fox PNR shorties

Hallowed Moon   I love Kelly Fox. You know this. To me, she writes some of the best stories there are. I'm slowly trying to work through the few I haven't read, and I started with Hallowed Moon, the first shortie in the Orpheum Avenue series.  Lazare is a wolf shifter in a beautiful found family. They seem to live their lives and attempt to help out other shifters in need. The moon is doing crazy things to Lazare this time around, and everyone is teasing him, telling him it's his fated.  Remy is a vampire from a rich family. Bless his heart, he's kidnapped, & his family offers cash for information to help find him.  The family of shifters need money to help the needy shifters so off the go!  But guess what? Remy and Lazare, they're fated. There's all kinds of other plot things happening, but if you're looking for knots and buckets of cum, look no further.  Loved these two. Loved this little shortie. I hope Kelly writes more on this. Gentry and Eloy perha...

Aisle Be the Groom: Sage Abbott

When your fiance abandons you to plan your wedding, living it up on a Carribean vacation, and continually decides to be a giant dick what do you do? Obviously, you fuck his dad.  One, reading this book made me want to reread Lawson and Opie's story: Dead Daddy, Please Love Me. Two, this book was a ridiculously fun read. Three,  Rowan absolutely needs a book.  Ozzie is an absolute sweetheart. His fiance isn't supportive, caring, or loving. Ozzie is gaslit and his sparkle has dimmed. But being on the ranch, being appreciated by Gray really brings him back to life.  These two are so into each other. Gray and Ozzie really don't have a choice when it comes to being together. Fiance or no.  I loved how Ozzie gets his confidence back. I love how Gray loves and defends Ozzie.  AISLE BE THE GROOM is a terrible name for a book, but I really really enjoyed it. There aren't enough stories with plus size mcs. And who doesn't love the idea of falling in love with your cr...

Bad Boyfriend Inc Books 1-3: Lisa Henry & Sarah Honey

Remember how much I loved the Alpha Tau Frat books? I wanted a similar vibe, and those books made me laugh and gave me the happy dolphins. Well, that duo also has a co-written series Bad Boyfriend, Inc. I shamelessly downloaded all three.  Book one, Awfully Ambrose, sets the stage. For money, Ambrose will go on a date with you and be the worst boyfriend/date ever. We see one of those dates in action - and good lord. Was it something else 😂😂😂😂  Liam, a waiter during that experience, decides to hire Ambrose to be a good boyfriend - his mom is a meddler, and Liam hopes that if he presents a boyfriend, his mom will stop with the matchmaking.  But Ambrose is the best at being charming, and one date turns into a big family weekend getaway.  This story was hilarious, over the top, and absolutely wonderful. Liam's family is so lovely, and the mcs are and delight together. There's not much spice, so don't go in looking for lots of bedroom action. The story is enough to k...

Bodyman: Lucy Lennox

Honestly, the only real issue I had with this novella was that it was a novella. I could have read an entire book of Garner and Kenan. BODYMAN was a super quick and super enjoyable read. Kenan has been in love with Garner since he was a pre-teen. And while Garner continues to climb the political ladder to eventually become president, Kenan rises in the ranks of the Navy. After leaving the Navy and talking to Garner's sister, Kenan decides to apply for the role of Garner's bodyman. Which is basically the personal valet to the president. Kenan wants to support him and be the one Garner can trust. Garner is the first openly gay president. He can't fall for his bodyman... can he? OMG, HE DID! Garner desperately needed Kenan's calm and quiet support, and Kenan just needed Garner. I loved these two so much! This was a freebie during a summer novella giveaway, but I'm pretty sure you can grab it on amazon or through Lucy's website.

His Secret: Isabel Lucero

Oh my god, this book wasn't at ALL what I was expecting. But it truly was silly of me to second guess Isabel Lucero. She always gets it just right. Before I write anything else, you need to know this book has cheating in it. But not between the two mcs, and honestly, even if it was technically cheating... I'm not gonna count it. Books with cheating are always hit or miss for me, but Matías and Adrian are legit soulmates, and you can't fight fate. Or me, cause this is the hill I'm gonna die on. Matías and Adrian meet in college. They have a quick but passionate secret affair. They can't be out because Adrian is very firmly (thanks to his parents) in the closet. THINGS HAPPEN. Eight years later, they cross paths again, and it becomes VERY serious, very quickly. I loved the hell out of this book. I liked both characters equally, and that's rare for me. I usually like one more than the other. But I liked both Matías and Adrian. I loved seeing their happily ever afte...

Part-time Daddy: B Harmony

Okay, so y'all know I love Daddy books. I prefer no age play, but sometimes, if it's written right, I can go for it. I really enjoyed B Harmony's PART-TIME DADDY.  Dean and Tanner meet at a Daddy Auction at their local kink club. Dean, who works there as the main DM, gets pushed into being on the auction block. Tanner, who works entirely too much and is past the point of exhaustion, just happens to show up on the night of said event.  Of course, Tanner unknowingly bids (and wins!) the Daddy of his dreams.  Dean, who is very anti-dating/playing, is instantly enthralled by Tanner - wanting to protect and help him. Dean is everything Tanner has ever wanted in a Daddy.  This book was SUPER CUTE. Tanner is adorable, and his love of vampires and horror-lite is beyond cute.  Tanner and Dean just fit together. They're kinks line right up, so it's no surprise that Daddy Dean found his baby bat.  This story was quick, sweet, and totally adorable. The side characters ...

Get A Fix: Mary Calmes

The Torus Intercession books are so fun. There's always a romance, but there's also plot and a touch of Oliva Pope-esque "fixing."  Book 6, GET A FIX, is Cooper's story.  Cooper gets sent to bodyguard-fake boyfriend-plus one-fix Ashford Lennox. Ash is a movie star and needs protection for less than a week, at a wedding.l because his previous bodyguard was a big creep.  When Cooper and Ash meet for the first time sparks FLY. I'm talking instant chemistry. Like country songs could be written about their first hug. It was wild! But also, totally believable because sometimes it just clicks.  I love how we get to know Cooper. The entire story is written from his perspective. He is a smooth talking, brutally honest fixer to his very core. He sees almost immediately that he himself is the perfect fix for Ash, and not just because of their sexual compatibility. The two just click together like missing puzzle pieces.  This book had an almost instant love story *I was s...

Legally Brawn: DJ Jamison

I needed something lighthearted to distract me from my hurricane induced worries. What better way to do that than read a book loosely inspired by Legally Blonde? I needed this romcom retelling. It was a magical balm to my soul. Ellis decided to apply to law school to win back his snake of an ex. Ellis is a sunshine golden retriever of a man, a personal trainer, and his favorite color is pink. His brain is a muscle, and he puts it to work! Thankfully, his bestie Jordan  is helping with all the studying and everything else that comes with law school. Jordan has been in love with his best friend Ellis since the beginning of their friendship. Jordan also has no hope Ellis would ever choose him. Jordan is the brainiac, the brain to Ellis' brawn. I loved this story. It was so cute. SO CUTE. And just different enough to be fun and familiar at the same time. I loved these characters, and I'm so glad they got their HEA. LEGALLY BRAWN would be perfect for fans of the movie or fans of a...

This was from the tbr stack, and it's free on amazon right now. A cowboy shifter romance. He stays busy, saving up to get out of town and see the world. He wants to be free. He's been working at the house for five years, recovering from a BAD situation. His Oath & Inhheriting the Mafia: Aja Foxx

Read these two last night. Spoiler alert: I loved them. My only issue was the editing, but the story and characters were amazing in both! Bound to his Oath:The Italian connection # 1 I love Aja Foxx's mafia stories. They are always SO entertaining! This one was a real doozy, too. Since they were children, Nico and Luca both knew they belonged together. When Nico's parents find them kissing, they rip the two boys apart and find a way to separate them. 10 years later, Nico's parents are planning to sell him in marriage. Guess who sweeps in to save him from unholy matrimony? You got it! Luca to the rescue. What follows is a real adventure involving all five mafia dons from NYC, lots of travel back and from from Italy, a smitten mafia boss, and "this is my husband, he's here for his tracker." Inheriting the Mafia: Italian connection # 2 Aja Foxx continues the crazy with this story 😂 when the entire D'Angelo family gets taken out, the hunt for the illegitimate...
