Shiloh works at a pleasure house as the only male omega. He stays busy, saving up to get out of town and see the world. He wants to be free. He's been working at the house for five years, recovering from a BAD situation. Things are looking up for Shiloh until the deaths start happening and the gunslinger comes to town.

Michael, the gunslinger, is out for revenge. For five years, he has been hunting the creature who killed his pregnant omega wife. 

Shiloh and Michael's paths cross, their histories intertwine, and they can't fight the passion and the chemistry between them.

Can they survive the creature? Will Shiloh's past catch up to him? Can they survive the lies and secrets Michael carries?

This story was way out of my wheelhouse, but I found myself enjoying the story and the characters. Especially Shiloh. Who doesn't love a survivor?

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
