Violent Devotion: L. Norell

Violent Devotion is the debut story from @authorlnorell and y'all, I ate this up!

This wasn't a sweeping romance, this was a weapon turned obsessed. This was think about touching him and die. This was a mafia love story, and with that comes violence.

I enjoyed the hell out of Alexei and Kelly. I enjoyed how very ✨️loverboy✨️ Alexei was. I loved the look into the inner workings of the mafia, and I loved Kelly's backstory.

If you prefer your mcs to be walking red flags, Alexei is your boy. He's a sweetie, but only for one person.

There is a lot of plot in this one, and a LOT of stalking/obsession. I was thoroughly entertained.

4.75⭐️ and I seriously can't wait for the chaos and angst that's gonna be delivered in book 2.

VIOLENT DEVOTION will be out 04/24, so jot that date down.

*side note* I DID picture a hot tatted up Connor Storrie with a Russian accent as Alexei. Sue me, I am a simple girl.

Oh my god, I am UNWELL. I shouldn't be surprised, but this one snuck up on me. BRIM OVER BOOT was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit that enemies to lovers is not my go-to genre. The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. I just finished this novella, IT STARTED WITH A TEXT, and 💕swoons dramatically💕 I absolutely adored this story. The vibes SCREAM romcom and it gives me that squealy giddy vibes romcoms from the 90s used to deliver. • biggest fan/rock star • textual misunderstandings • reverse catfishing • FALLING IN LOVE • NYC as a side character • rich man/poor man • mockery as a love language This was the sweetest story, truly. Nick and Anthony make this beautiful connection, right when they need it most. I laughed, I squealed, and I definitely craved some ice cream. I could have read 600 pages of their cuteness. But then I would surely ☠️. The bonus chapters you can get at the end is 100% worth it. I loved this story so much. 4 75⭐️
