How to Flirt with a Hellhound: Shannon Mae

If you are looking for a legit over the top delight, then HOW TO FLIRT WITH A HELLHOUND just might be the book for you. This story was FUNNY especially if you're comfortable with dark humor.

• romance author/hellhound shifter
• vigilante hellhounds (it's giving Necessary Evils)
• forced proximity (they are neighbors!)
• mutually downbad mmcs
• both mcs have a found family group

Dexter and Toby were both such disasters oh my god LOL. They are mutually pining and doing/saying the weirdest stuff. I was laughing so much while reading.

This book (and looks like the series too) touches on some dark topics so make sure to check the warnings. But it's always the baddies getting their comeuppance, and our characters may go through it, but similar to other great vigilante series, it's worth it for the ๐Ÿ”ช๐Ÿ”ช๐Ÿ”ช

Toby, the reclusive romance author, gets a stalker. It's all very terrible, mainly because Toby is such a sweet diaster, but mostly because stalkers IRL are bad news. Dexter very much has a problem with his cute neighbor that smells like PACK being scared & in danger.

There is a LOT of flirting and storybuilding in this book, and not a ton of spicy scenes. The ones that feature are good though. Especially since Dexter has a tail that he likes to use during..... ๐Ÿ‘€

Definitely recommend this book!!!! I'm (loosely) planning to read this series between other books 'cause they're a little too over the top to read right after the other, but that isn't a bad thing at all!

"Was it weird that I fell a little harder for Dexter every time he gave me plot ideas? I mean, he was totally inspirational for the sex scenes, but he was also really good at helping me talk through my other plot points, and he had great ideas. Not evervone thought talking about torture and dismemberment was fun, but it was totally our love language.

Awww, we had a love language. I was so there for that. Boyfriend goals activated."
