I LOVED this story. The Mobster's Mate was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be. Y'all it was so good!

Perfect if you've read and loved The Kincaid Pack series- or if you love paranormal shifter stories. You COULD read it as a standalone, but it would be better enjoyed if you read Rick's series first.

QUINTEN is a dreamboat. No lie. The man is mafia adjacent, has his own enforcers and witches, runs his city, and adamantly refuses to admit he has a pack. He is 100% alpha.

CADEN is found in one of Quinten's warehouses and rescued. The two meet and it's hearts beating in time and mates. But Caden has a past, and Quinten has his own issues, and there's a lot happening pretty much all the time. 

This was a WONDERFUL story. I can't wait to read the next book, and see all the side characters get mated up. Darius, Nero, and Robbie too! Robbie has violet eyes, who was his mother?!?!?!

The two mc's were lovely.
The side characters were top tier.
Who doesn't love FATED MATES?!
The baddie was classic baddie.

I ate this story up!

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. Y'all, I LOVED THIS STORY. I saw it available to arc read, and I took a chance. I am SO glad I did. I loved Cash & Wilder. If you love cowboy romances, 10/10 recommend this one. I've been crying off and on throughout the entire book. Wilder was such an amazing character. His back story was TOP TIER, and how he got introduced to the story kept me engaged the entire time. And Cash. Don't get me started on him. He is the perfect cowboy and the perfect place for Wilder to land. After being released from prison, omg that story broke my heart, Wilder goes back to his family ranch. But so much has changed, and so has he, and he doesn't quite feel like he fits anymore. Brim Over Boot: Darling Brothers book 2: Emmy Sanders

Oh my god, I am UNWELL. I shouldn't be surprised, but this one snuck up on me. BRIM OVER BOOT was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit that enemies to lovers is not my go-to genre. But Colt and Noah were damn enjoyable to read. From the beginning, you could see that Noah was under Colt's skin, and I was so here for when things started happening. And lord did they! Their love story is packed full of humor, rivalry, ridiculousness, and miscommunication/misunderstanding. They're idiots, your honor. But they're also SWEETHEARTS. Colt's struggle and fight along with Noah's possessiveness and patience. It's swoony over here! I loved seeing the Darling family again and meeting Walter. AND the Darling donkey cameo!
