Good lord, I am UNWELL.

WILDE LOVE is grandpa and doc's story and I am overwhelmed 😭😭😭😭😭

Weston and Liam's love story is epic, spanning over 40 years. They meet in Vietnam, during the war. Liam is married and has a family back in Texas and Weston (Major) is gay, and hiding. Major falls for Liam practically the moment he lays eyes on him. They're best friends, and brothers (like soldiers become in war)... but they are also so much more.

The pining.
The yearning.
The patience.
The trust.

My heart was in my throat the entire time I read their story. And I knew they were happy together because they have been in the previous 5 books, but it felt so impossible.

Their love story is brilliant. And beautiful. And heartbreaking. I loved them so much.

Maybe I'll cry it out for awhile. I am so shook up. Yes, I am going to go sob now.

Don't read past this line if you don't want spoilers. I am dead serious.

I am gonna ramble a minute. I think I am so twisted up by this story because it feels ENORMOUS. Weston fell in love with another soldier during the VIETNAM war. He didn't know if either of them would survive. Liam was what Wes clung to in his heart. He couldn't be OUT. Then when Liam needs him he goes to Texas, where he takes care of Liam's family, becomes friends with his wife, holds Liam up through every tragedy imaginable and doesn't expect ANYTHING. He just loves Liam. Every day. All the time. And just when he thinks it will all work out, he's attacked. Brutally. His last thought before he (assumes that he will) die is of being grateful to have had a moment with Liam. I just... can you wrap your mind around that?! He comes back, through unconsciousness, because Liam is losing his everloving mind. Comforting him, even then. That man.

And Liam. Oh god. These two are going to live rent free in my head for a LONG time. A lifetime isn't long enough for those two. They deserve ALL TIME.

OK. Now I really do need to go cry.

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. Y'all, I LOVED THIS STORY. I saw it available to arc read, and I took a chance. I am SO glad I did. I loved Cash & Wilder. If you love cowboy romances, 10/10 recommend this one. I've been crying off and on throughout the entire book. Wilder was such an amazing character. His back story was TOP TIER, and how he got introduced to the story kept me engaged the entire time. And Cash. Don't get me started on him. He is the perfect cowboy and the perfect place for Wilder to land. After being released from prison, omg that story broke my heart, Wilder goes back to his family ranch. But so much has changed, and so has he, and he doesn't quite feel like he fits anymore. Cash, the ranch foreman, is Wilder's boss... but he becomes so much more. This story has so much HEART and family dynamics. Brim Over Boot: Darling Brothers book 2: Emmy Sanders

Oh my god, I am UNWELL. I shouldn't be surprised, but this one snuck up on me. BRIM OVER BOOT was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit that enemies to lovers is not my go-to genre. But Colt and Noah were damn enjoyable to read. From the beginning, you could see that Noah was under Colt's skin, and I was so here for when things started happening. And lord did they! Their love story is packed full of humor, rivalry, ridiculousness, and miscommunication/misunderstanding. They're idiots, your honor. But they're also SWEETHEARTS. Colt's struggle and fight along with Noah's possessiveness and patience. It's swoony over here! I loved seeing the Darling family again and meeting Walter. AND the Darling donkey cameo!
