His Saint: Forever Wilde book 5: Lucy Lennox
Another read for my ✨️you already have books at home✨️ series where I, you guessed, read a book that I already own and haven't read. In case you missed it, I counted over 1100 books I already own and haven't read yet, girl, read the books you own LOL.
I LOVED His Saint.
I love Lucy Lennox.
I love the Forever Wilde series.
Saint Wilde, the ex Navy SEAL, Fuck Boi. With everyone settling down, and Saint being temporarily reassigned to his small Texas hometown, he sets his sights on Augie.
August (Augie) runs the antique store. He's also from a wealthy family and suddenly he is experiencing break-ins and robberies. Saint is set to teach him self defense moves... and things between them escalate.
I loved this story, even though I wanted to shake Augie by the shoulders. Of course his family messed him up and he tries to handle everything on his own. Who doesn't trust the 6ft5 retired Navy Seal?! Stop being a dummy and trust that man.
*he does*
This story was sweet and had a mystery angle. We see lots of the other Wildes living their HEAs. And at the end, we add Saint and Augie to that number.
"You deserve to be cared for. You deserve to be looked after and protected -----. When you thank me for caring for you, it hurts my heart. Everyone should care for you. Everyone should treat you with kindness, tenderness, and respect. I don't want you to ever think for a minute you don't deserve the best." ... "You deserve to be adored, to be pampered, to feel like the center of the universe."
Up next, WILDE LOVE. grandpa and doc's story. I'm preparing to sob uncontrollably. I can't wait.
