Flagrant Foul: Totally Pucked book 3: Jesse H. Reign

This book had me crying the entire time! Why? I don't know. I don't know why Teddy and Sev made me so emotional, but they did. I am an absolute mess over here.

Why did I love this book?

• it's Jesse
• THE WORDS
• the PINING
• brother's bff/best friend's brother
• "I've loved you all my life."

Also, this:
"This time, his kiss is ruthless and hard. It's the furthest thing from chaste. A linear mile from innocent. It's the kiss. The one I've been waiting for all of my life."

Did I mention the pining?

When I tell you I love a consistent character who is happy to pine forever, believe me. Teddy, you ridiculous man.

Sev was my favorite. Something about him just broke my heart.

This review is different from the ones I usually write. I can't stop crying. And Daylight by Taylor Swift keeps playing in my head, which isn't helping. It's only making me cry harder.

If you want a SUPER slow burn with lots of pining, look no further.  Teddy and Sev were hot and epic in equal measure.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. Where did he come from 👀 I need to know. Jesse. How do I get a Ben Stirling, please? And Jeremiah. JELLY. Oh my god, Jelly. Both mmcs had no right to be as perfect as they were. Brim Over Boot: Darling Brothers book 2: Emmy Sanders

Oh my god, I am UNWELL. I shouldn't be surprised, but this one snuck up on me. BRIM OVER BOOT was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit that enemies to lovers is not my go-to genre. But Colt and Noah were damn enjoyable to read. From the beginning, you could see that Noah was under Colt's skin, and I was so here for when things started happening. And lord did they! Their love story is packed full of humor, rivalry, ridiculousness, and miscommunication/misunderstanding. They're idiots, your honor. But they're also SWEETHEARTS. Colt's struggle and fight along with Noah's possessiveness and patience. It's swoony over here! I loved seeing the Darling family again and meeting Walter. AND the Darling donkey cameo!
