Fix It Up was amazing. I am LOVING this bodyguard/fixer series. Book three is Locryn's book, and I forgot how hard I fell for Loc & Nick during my original read. So imagine my surprise when I was on the edge of my seat through half the story LOL

Locryn keeps his soft, soft heart buried under a hateful and hardass exterior. He gets called in to guide Nick Madison into sobriety. Nick is a rockstar just out of rehab, and his record company is ✨️this close✨️ to putting him under a conservatorship. Locryn is the final chance for Nick to get himself figured out.

Loc comes in like a wrecking ball, making Nick's home a sanctuary, an oasis. Hires a maid and a chef and begins to set up a framework for Nick to live his best life.

Neither men expect to find their person/home in the other, but that's exactly what they get. This story is full of plot, and the steam picks up when Nick is back to 100%.

I truly have enjoyed every book in my reread, but there is just something about Locryn and Nick. They push and pull each other when their feelings are so obvious to literally EVERYONE... except each other.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. Brim Over Boot: Darling Brothers book 2: Emmy Sanders

Oh my god, I am UNWELL. I shouldn't be surprised, but this one snuck up on me. BRIM OVER BOOT was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit that enemies to lovers is not my go-to genre. But Colt and Noah were damn enjoyable to read. From the beginning, you could see that Noah was under Colt's skin, and I was so here for when things started happening. And lord did they! Their love story is packed full of humor, rivalry, ridiculousness, and miscommunication/misunderstanding. They're idiots, your honor. But they're also SWEETHEARTS. Colt's struggle and fight along with Noah's possessiveness and patience. It's swoony over here! I loved seeing the Darling family again and meeting Walter. AND the Darling donkey cameo!
