Bratva's Intern: Bratva's Undoing book 1: Gianni Holmes
I just finished Bratva's Intern 🩷 and it's a wild, question filled story. Sadly, I must report that this is a book that ends with an HFN to be continued in the next book. While the story COULD end. There are just too many unanswered questions.
I want to say right from the start that I enjoyed this book. It had a great plot with entertaining characters. However, I think that this could have been condensed just a bit, and Wren and Maxim's story could have been told in one book. I may retract that after I've read Bratva's Vow, who knows?
There were parts of the story that dragged a little, and then parts where I was so dailed in an asteroid could have hit my house, and I would have missed it.
Wren is a bit of a disaster and a little traumatized from his past but doing his best. He's shocked when he's called in for an interview for an internship he didn't apply for.
Maxim is, to the public, a businessman, and to those in the know, he's bratva. Illegal dealing out the wazoo. He's irritated by his attraction to Wren.
The story escalates, as they do. More and more incredible things happen. And then -----. We get a ✨️happy for now✨️ and a word from the author that our questions will be answered in book two.
Telling you my questions would be potential spoilers, so I'll skip it. Needless to say, I'm very much looking forward to the conclusion of Maxim and Wren's story.
