The Marriage Policy: Jilted Exes book 2: Riley Hart

Okay, so this was CUTE.

The Marriage Policy is basically two childhood best friends being HELLA oblivious and not realizing they were in love the whole time - which is besties to lovers GOLD. There's also marriage of convenience - which is only made better when they love each other and don't realize it.

Donovan and Eric have been each other's person for forever. When Eric needs help, Donovan doesn't hesitate. Because they continually show up for each other. Thata just what they do.

Again, I say: these two were adorable. The chemistry was fire, and the dirty talk too!

Another thing I love in oblivious dummies in love stories is when everyone else knows!

This story has a great collection of side characters, including the other two ✨️jilted exes✨️ and I loved seeing Rylan and Hayes still being adorable for each other.

I'm SO CURIOUS about Anthony's story!

I enjoyed the hell out of Donovan and Eric exploring each other and getting themselves sorted out. This was the squishiest of HEAs. Butterscotch included.

THE MARRIAGE POLICY is out June 11th 🩷 who doesn't love a good best friends to lovers story? ✨️sighs dramatically✨️ that's one of my favorite tropes.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. Brim Over Boot: Darling Brothers book 2: Emmy Sanders

Oh my god, I am UNWELL. I shouldn't be surprised, but this one snuck up on me. BRIM OVER BOOT was fantastic. I'll be the first to admit that enemies to lovers is not my go-to genre. But Colt and Noah were damn enjoyable to read. From the beginning, you could see that Noah was under Colt's skin, and I was so here for when things started happening. And lord did they! Their love story is packed full of humor, rivalry, ridiculousness, and miscommunication/misunderstanding. They're idiots, your honor. But they're also SWEETHEARTS. Colt's struggle and fight along with Noah's possessiveness and patience. It's swoony over here! I loved seeing the Darling family again and meeting Walter. AND the Darling donkey cameo!
