Oh my, LOVE NOTES was squishy, kick your feet together, sweetness. It has activated ✨️cute aggression✨️ in my brain. Ryan and Adam were DARLING.

Ryan is an introverted and lonely woodworker. His sister bullies him into sleeping in his studio while she rents out his cabin because of an emergency. The renters? That's Adam, the author with writer's block looking for absolutely no distractions.

The two of them hit it off like fireworks. It all happens super fast and feels like fate. I love Henry's storytelling because of the feeling it brings, and I just love how perfect these two were. Soulmates.

There's so much sweetness & the learning disability rep was well done.

One of the things I loved most was seeing Ryan let himself trust Adam. Swoon.

LOVE NOTES is out now! It's a short little after dinner read! A novella full of handwritten love notes and whittled aliens and a cat named Cat.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Jesse chose violence with this one because I died multiple times while reading. Died. Dead. Ben Stirling. Holy hell. BEN STIRLING CAN GET IT. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
