Sleet Kitten: SJ Tilly book one, reread

Sleet Kitten is book one in SJ Tilly's Sleet Hockey series. I one billion percent recommend this book. Especially if you're looking for a hetero hockey romance.

Katelyn has a sexy meet cute with Jackson at a fancy party she was guilted into attending. I can't give any of the details away because it's cute AND hilarious, and I don't want to spoil it.

This book had so many laugh out loud moments. I genuinely laughed so hard I almost threw up. These two are a complete mess and totally bonkers, but they work so well together.

If you're looking for spice, it's there, and when it's on, it's ON, but there aren't tons of steamy scenes. But the vibes are immaculate. The friendships are top tier. The MOTHER MARY MOMENT had me cackling like a loon, and the [redacted] scene had me in tears.

If you like M/F romances, you're gonna enjoy this one. I've loved every book I've read by Tilly so far, and I'm gonna keep on going. I can't recommend her books more, and there are all kinds of them too.

Still such a HILARIOUS story. And a quick read. The Laird's Heart really hits different when you know it's about to happen 😂 genuinely, a quick & fun hockey romance!

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
