Hired Hadley : Foster Brothers book 2: Nora Phoenix
I am LOVING rereading this series! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the Foster Brothers.
HIRED: HADLEY is Hadley & Sebastian's story. Perfect for the folks who love grumpy/sunshine stories AND boss/employee romances.
Hadley is happy being a temporary PA. The trauma he experienced as a child makes him iffy about putting down SOLID roots or relationships anywhere - with the exception of his brother's. He's told himself he doesn't want to feel "tied down," and that branches into almost every aspect of his life. He likes his jobs, he likes organizing things for his clients, and he likes hooking up with no strings.
He newest job is for Sebastian, the CEO of a robotics company. Sebastian is grumpy because he hates his job and doesn't really know how to ask for help.
Remarkably, when Hadley and Sebastian meet, we are set up to expect a clash - but Hadley sees the issues and works them all out. The only problem is that these two have chemistry for days. How can Hadley keep it professional?
What happens next is two folks who don't wanna a relationship find themselves in one.
I'll be honest, I cried a little during this one. Hadley has such a big big heart, and he is so afraid. Babe, I feel that.
Loving this series, loving this reread extravaganza, and loving these brothers! Up next Lagan!
