Redeem My Heart: Kat Baxter

This novella was CUTE. I grabbed it as a freebie on the zon, and I definitely will be reading some more from this author.

My only problem with REDEEM MY HEART is that it was a novella. I would have read 400 pages of Shelby and Dane. I loved them.

Shelby has always had a thing of Dane. Always. Now Dane is back from his time in the service. He's the grumpy to her sunshine.

See what I mean? Dane is a dreamboat.

I think this whole town would be fun to read about, and I think the author has lots of stories set in Saddle Creek. I'm excited to read more about the dog sanctuary and hopefully see more of Shelby and Dane.

This was a quick, fun read. I love big girls getting their man!

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
