Mountain Boss: SJ Tilly

You already know where this is going. SJ Tilly is my favorite hetero romance writer, and she DELIVERED with Mountain Boss. It comes out on 03/27, so jot that down. I need book two NOW, but that makes me feel greedy. And ungrateful. Thank you for this story. Your honor, I love them.

Courtney was amazing. And even though Sterling was a hottie and deliciously dominant, COURNTEY stole the show for me. Like, will she be my girlfriend?! What a dreamboat!

I don't wanna spoil anything, so I'll try to be vague. The love story, bangin' when it popped off. The spice, nice! And a bit "rougher" than I was expecting, but I was 100% here for it. Their dynamic totally worked for them.

These two mcs were LONELY. It broke my heart how much they needed each other. The possessiveness was perfect 👀 looking at you, Big Joe.

Other amazing story points I loved: the landscape. The other employees at the lodge. Courtney's badassery. Ben! The hot tub scene. The-Earl-Had-To-Die moments. Spike! The leg holding at _____. Sterling's habit of ___  ____ from Courtney and using it to _____.  Everything, all of it. I'm DYING to know who's next. All the side characters were amazing.

Sterling was a bit of a disaster-baby. I mean, he was an absolute mess. Bless his heart.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. It broke my heart and sewed it right back up. Y'all can fight over Sterling, and I'll be over here crushing on Courtney, cause what a babe! I can't recommend this book enough! I almost want to start all over again!

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
