I LOVE a good mafia romance, and Angelo Rizzo is definitely my kind of mafia man.

If you love a male mc that's: alpha, possessive, obsessive, DEFINITELY morally grey, and hell bent on marrying you whether you like it or not... you're gonna enjoy Angelo.

I kinda wanted another 100 pages. Did Eddie go to Sicily to take care of business? What was the deal with the push for (redacted) and the Valentina lady?

Vittoria is INNOCENT in every way and has a real LOSER of a stepbrother Giorgio. But he's her head of house after her father's accident. After some bad choices, Giorgio tries to sell off his sister to settle his debts.

Angelo is one of the 5 GUYS that run NYC. He's the head of his family, Rizzo. Basically, everyone is terrified of him, with reason, and he suddenly crosses the path of Vittoria.

I loved this story. It was entertaining AF and exactly what I needed. Mafia/ Cosa Nostra stories usually hit the spot for me, and this one checked all the boxes.

I loved Big Ricky and Tiny and Rita. I loved Tori's sweetness, and I loved Angelo and how intense he was.

I downloaded the next book because it's the story of another of the 5 guys.

If you're looking for a good hetero mafia story, check it out! Not super dark, but check the tw's.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
