I'm not mad about it, but I was not prepared. 

Colin and Ash are besties and stepbros. But Ash is keeping a secret. When Colin finds out, these codependent oblivious dummies start a k!nky journey and fall in love.

Spoiler: Ash likes to jerk it on a cam site. He likes the attention, and feeling like an object. A desired object. When Colin finds out, he asks if he can watch. He wants to know why it makes Ash so happy, and during the scene he figures out that he would do ANYTHING to keep Ash that happy.

Honestly, spicy exhibitionism aside, this book was funny as hell. Colin and Ash have been close for so long that their bestie-ship is riddled with ZERO BOUNDARIES and inside jokes. These two are codependent as hell, but they realize it. They'd do anything for each other which translates to smoking hot chemistry. 

Spice is a huge part of this book. You have to be down for exhibitionism, masturbation, dirty talk, edging, bath houses, camming, and general f*ckery. Like, for real. The bath house scene was unreal.

As we get to know Ash, his kinks make sense. The way both his parents are - it's no surprise he gets off on being wanted  and getting attention. Colin is so down bad for Ash that he'd be game for anything. Throughout the story Colin does little things for Ash: bringing him things, checking in, making time for him.

This book was AN ADVENTURE. I haven't blushed like that in a long time. At the end of the day, Colin and Ash were great together. Super in love & chock full of chemistry.

I liked this story a little more than Step Bet, book one. Colin and Ash are both sweethearts and Atlas from book one was a little too mean for me LOL.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. Granddaddy's Law: Wolfe Productions

It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow.
