My Alpha Tau rap up.  I'm so sad it's over. Honestly. I could have kept reading these books forever. These characters are a damned delight.

Bro Jobs Alpha Tau prequel novella ✨️Scout and Trey✨️ I should have read this one first, but it's okay. You can read it any time without disrupting the events. Although... it might make book one make a little more sense.

Scout and Trey are sort of grumpy/sunshine. They're absolutely clueless/calm. They are 100% cute.

Scout and Trey are roommates. It's new, but things are going okay. Neither are dating because their schedules are full. So, sometimes things get overheard. At night. according to Scout, Trey is prolifically consistent at "beating his meat." Scout has thought a LOT about what he overhears.

Finally, one night, Scout can't take it anymore and offers to help a bro out. He was getting a little excited about what he was overhearing. What follows is strictly bros being bros... right?

Trey is so chill. I can absolutely see how he becomes the president of the frat in the later books. I love how Trey just lets Scout take his time and figure himself out. Because it's obvious Trey was into Scout from the beginning of their "bro-ship."

What starts as Bros with Benefits blooms into a weirdly perfect relationship. Like, y'all. These two just vibe.


The REUNION ✨️Alpha Tau, 10 years later✨️

In SIX chapters, we find out what everyone has been up to at the wedding of the year.

Archer & Eli are looking for a house. Ridiculously in love as ever. Eli is an art teacher, and Archer is a family lawyer. They live in Hopewell.

Marty and Dalton (and Squirell) are dads! They have 2 kids, and I'll leave that story for you to rread. But to be clear, it absolutely makes sense and it's totally on brand how they end up parents to Nasr & Amina. Marty is a lawyer, and Dalton is a doctor. They're both great dads. They're good with "change of plans."

Charlie & Tanner are back in the US, after Tanner played baseball in Japan. Watching Charlie be Charlie, seeing how these two still get each other was an absolute treat. Now that they're stateside Tanner can eat all the junk food & Charlie can do his lawyering.

Casey & Briar are still going strong with a proposal that was very THEM. Casey is a lawyer, and Briar is an event planner. The banter is on point. Brair is on point. Casey is along for the ride.

Trey and Scout. Sigh. They deserved their own big book because the more I got of Scout, the more he became my favorite. It's THEIR wedding everyone is orbiting around.

The Legend Next Door: Totally Pucked Book 2: Jesse H. Reign

I think this may be the hardest review I've ever had to write. I can't believe I'm saying this because I genuinely believed that Unbreak Me would remain my favorite Jesse book of all time... but THE LEGEND NEXT DOOR has, without a doubt, taken that spot. It's rare for me to go all in on a taboo story. Mainly because I need a little plot to enjoy a story and most taboo is just porny erotica. Which, to each their own, we don't yuck anyone's yum here - but I need some plot. My little corner of booksta was popping OFF about the latest taboo story, a collab of dark romance writers Brea Alepou & Skyler Snow. I've enjoyed their work in the past, and was told by a trusted booksta friend that Grandaddy's Law did in fact have a plot in addition to the porny goodness that had everyone OMG-ing the day away.
